The price of the tubing cutting might be a bit high but after your first couple of catalitic converters you will recover the cost in no time.

Unless they take the resonator instead of the Catalytic converter, that is. Saw that on the Mechanical Nightmare channel, more than once. 😆😆😆

The paint roller looks like it might be good, but that "built-in paint shield" isn't going to work for squat, as anyone with any experience painting knows. There are all manner of "separate part" paint shields, and they never work, no matter how careful you are -- paint always gets on an edge, then somehow works around the edge, so paint gets smeared on a non-paint surface.

People have been saying work smarter not harder way before Steve Jobs was ever born FACTS

Fair enough. But he didn’t say Steve Jobs pioneered the saying. He just said that Jobs liked to say it and that it was a philosophy he believed in. So he doesn’t say anything about it’s origins.

Work smarter not harder is still a lazy man’s (read:union) creed. Sometimes you’ve still got to roll up your sleeves and just work hard to get things done. There’s a whole lot to be said for working smart, but it doesn’t mean there’s always a way around the hard stuff

Not too good. Slate has no friction surface, whereas shingles are designed that way. Different material is needed to use on slate. Not to say they don't have a version for slate... 👍
@rowgler1
@rowgler1 Жыл бұрын
The bottom seems to have a layer of foam rubber that conforms to the rough surface of the gravel on the shingles. It looks handy, I may try to make one next time its needed. It would probably just wipe slates clean and slide.

The paint dispenser you can attach to a tap to clean its head directly into a bath, is interesting. However by doing so your putting paint directly in to the water recycling system and where I live that is an offence, it’s definitely not environmentally friendly!
@deineroehre

Depends on the paint, since there are water based and environmentally freindly paints usually used, there is no problem in cleaning the tool with the tap.

@@deineroehre correct but how many people do you know, that know there is different kinds of paints and how they might react In the different environmental factors? I fix drains every year that are full of diy material waste (paints , putty, plaster, tapes, sawdust etc… ) generally speaking to the unknowing, toilets and sinks are not disposal receptacles. Buckets and kitty litter make it a solid for the landfill.

It is so strange that American and Australia have such different roofing systems. America has (or seems to have) framed timber roofing covered with plywood (or similar as the rigid covering) and then with asphalt ‘tiles’, but I have never seen asphalt tiles/shingles in Australian. Australia seems to have mostly similar timber roof structure but then covered with terracotta or concrete tiles , or colourbond style sheeting which as the both the weather protection and the rigid roof.
