The annoyances lists have a ton of pop up blockers and you can always add your own rule to block anything that is missed.

The free version is Safari only. If you go Pro, you’ll get the VPN-based ad blocker which is whole system.

I tried this AdGuard and it does a great job but when I go to settings there's no filter option to disable those annoying cookie banners. Was that option deleted from new versions or I did something wrong?

I have Brave browser installed on all of my devices and it just blocks ads and trackers automagically. Also, note that one should not use adguard with an existing VPN.

If its the app, its obvious that it wouldnt block the app since it isnt connected to the content blocker nor it would work on it, because safari isnt much connected to KZbin app, the KZbin app is the one connecting to it, so the content blocker cant go to the KZbin app.

AG did not work on my ipad mini. I downloaded it and when I checked in settings it was not even visible in safari. It also seems to be requesting that you pay for it, so even the supposed free version is not free it seems. Has anyone managed to get it to work on ipad mini? I would be willing to pay for it but not without seeing if it works.

I dug into more and, although you can block ads in KZbin Safari, the in-app ads are now encrypted in the video stream so cannot be blocked if you’re using the standard KZbin app.

I just tested my AdGuard Pro subscription. It blocks ads from KZbin in Safari but it’s not blocking in app any more. I’m not entirely certain when that changes. I used to catch nearly all of them.

So.. at work with my iPad Air (1st gen) running iOS 12.4.3, if I go to Safari settings > Content Blockers... I don't see a list of blockers there... only AdGuard Pro. So does that mean this video only applies to Adguard Pro on iPadOS 13+??

I have noticed that AdGuard Pro differs slightly from the free version in that all content blockers are grouped under one setting in the Safari settings. You can disable individual filters within AGP itself.

@@tech_craft Nope... iPad Pro 11" iPadOS 13.2.2 with Adguard Pro 2.1.2 and in settings > Safari > Content Blockers > only on/off for AdGuard Pro. I'm here in the US (Florida) so maybe something wit US build. Not a big deal, just thought interesting.
