I've had both phones and made a 1vs1 comparison. In the day to day use, you really don't notice the difference in the processor, only in games which obviously load faster on the Pro version, but not by much (abuout half to 1 full second). The camera on the other hand there's a lot of difference, but in a weird way, the Pro has more things like 8k and 4k60fps but the Non-Pro version takes way better pictures, the difference is day and night. In the end I ended up selling the Pro version and keeping the non-Pro

I bought the 11T around 6 months ago, upgraded from Galaxy S7 (I usually only think about upgrading every 5-7 years) because I shattered the screen. And I'm really happy with it. It's my first Xiaomi phone, I always used Samsung androids before, but MIUI isn't that different from other Android systems. The only two things I have a bit of a problem with is that sometimes the phone gets bugged and the screen won't lock and the brightness turns really low. I usually just restart it then. And the other thing is the not so great night camera, and I really wanted to use my phone for astrophotography. It's good, but I just expected better. Otherwise the phone is perfect, especially for the price point, I bought it on sale for about 400 USD in Croatia.

Just got the 11T today & it's definitely the better choice. The Dimensity 1200-Ultra is flagship, the standard Dimensity 1200 was already great, better than the Snapdragon 870 & almost as good as the Snapdragon 888. The 11T Pro, should of had the Snapdragon 888+.

I bought the T pro version; it's on the way. My first Smartphone had a MediaTek SoC, I perfectly remember it was the Elephone P300S. I was a great phone, and I used to dislike the fact that people preferred Qualcomm over MediaTek. As time went on I understood why that was. Two of the reasons why I bought the T pro was because of its SoC and 120w charge. I literally have the phone on night mode (the screen filter) 24h a day, so I don't care about the display, nor do I about the 120hz. The reason why I bought it was because of the development I know it will have. I am writing this on a Pocophone F1 (Snapdragon 845/released in August, 2018) and the development of this phone is crazy wide. The point I am trying to make is that Qualcomm SoC are a live saver later down the road. Not saying that MediaTek is bad, in fact, I think they're equal or better than Qualcomm or Exynos; but the development of such SoC is their biggest disadvantage and I think that's the main reason why people choose the Pro version.

It is a good phone, it hurts that Xiaomi made the same mistake as with the Poco F3 and the Redmi Note 10 Pro with the proximity sensor, which is software and not physical, therefore it fails a lot.

I have it for two weeks just three major issues: 1- the camera isn't good as you expect a 108mp to be but it has great super macro option you can take picture from small details which can't be seen by human eyes, fascinating. 2- it has no 3mm jack so you have to buy earbuds if you regularly use handsfree, I don't know why they build new smartphones this way. 3- no FM radio almost all smart phone have it! not all people use it but still... Dolby sound is great,good design, enough rom and storaege, acceptable chip, it's great phone with this price,it deserves nickname flagship killer.

I love this phone over the Poco f3 and a lot of other Xiaomi phone the first one is that this phone has an actual proximity sensor. And the second one is that I do get 5G with this phone in the USA over the other 6 Xiaomi phones I have, it is a bit more spotty then a US phone but I honestly don't trust what the signal bar says anyway...my girlfriend has an iphone XR and it says 5G in the status bar. All in all it's a great phone and it's worth getting I paid $319 for this phone and it's better then my $829 OnePlus 9 pro

Great review but sadly the 11t (pro) is more of a downgrade from the 10T pro this year. Gone is the OIS, 13MP wide and 144 HZ screen. Instead we get No ois, 8mp wide and a 120 hz screen. The only plus is the move to a very bright oled. Also locally here in Thailand, the price went up quite a bit. So sorry xiaomi no 11T this year, ill stick with the 10T Pro with it's better camera's.

The reason that the 11t pro's screen has just 120hz and not 144hz like in the 10t pro, it's because the 11t pro has a Amoled screen, and the 10t pro has an IPS screen, 144hz amoled screens are expensive, and not even Iphone's or Samsung Galaxy s21 Ultra doesn't have it , they are found just in gaming phones like the ROG and Red Magic

@cambo Why? It's his opinion.. And I share it. The snapdragon 888 is a disaster of a Prozessor... It's overheats very quick and the performance drops below the snapdragon 865 and below the mediatek while doing performance heavy stuff. It's only quicker for a few minutes. On top of that.. 120w charging great. But you don't need to charge it anyway during the day. Plus: it can't be good for the battery health in the long term compare to "slower speeds"... It's ~18mins against ~35mins... Wow.. Great.. 😂

I use MIUI it's great for menu(android 12 menu is default in the video) you scroll to left and right for apps ,also android 12 is Great for notification ,noti goes on differ page than items,also you can use buttons in down or active android 12(you slide from edge of left and right as back button) easier and more beautiful than buttons .

Cons Unremarkable standby performance ruins overall battery life. Display is missing the Dolby Vision certification, MEMC, SD upscaling and the adaptive bit in the high refresh rate compared to the 11T Pro. No OIS, telephoto camera or lossless zoom. Meh selfie camera is long overdue for an upgrade.
