Thank you sir. I was actually looking for lexar ns100 vs kingston a400 because both of them are budget. Couldnt find any with the exact title. Should have been in your title would saved me (probably others too) from jumping from video to video since they are almost the same price point, but none the less, know i know which ssd i should shoot for! 👍🏼

The difference in write speeds is because both drives have buffers. The most important figure is not the one you get from Crystal Disk Mark, it's that sustained write speed after the buffer is full. Put quite simply the Samsung is faster.

what is the type of Nand flash TLC or QLC, and which is better this model or Crucial MX500?
@TechforTechs4 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, they don't give this information, if I was to guess I would say 3D Nand. the MX500 came out just behind the Samsung 850 Evo 2 years back, and this drive comes just above the Evo is most tests, so it should be a bit faster, in basics whatever you can get for the best price go for that one

@@TechforTechs I bought the 250GB version at $34 to replace failing HDDs on client PCs at work, since it's the cheapest 250GB SATA SSD I could find. I expected the performance to be below average, but wow, you showed it is much faster, even faster than my current Crucial M550 1TB.
