Dude, please build a metal detector for both ferrous and non ferrous metals (should there be a difference). I'm sure you'll get plenty of views. Build circuitry with practical applications, I doubt whether most people know the physical application of your circuits. Anyway great work, don't stop.

Во 2-й самоделке вы питаете LDR 10W через транзистор BC 547 максимальная мощность которого по даташиту - 0,5 W. Это только мне кажется, что такая конструкция долго не проработает? :)

Why is it that 240volts is used rather than low 12volts. Your video goes out to i would imagine young viewers getting interested in electronics. Not only is the voltage lethal, but you have the whole assembly with the 240 volts not protected, ready for waiting fingers. As i said, using 12 volts is more than adequate for the learners to start.

A pot is used instead of a fixed resistor because if you use a fixed resistor you can't alter the sensitivity whereas by a pot you can. So in this circuit it is a must to use one.

@@WWEMaster I can't tell you without building the circuit but if you really want a fixed resistor instead of a variable ( which I see it's pointless) just at first use a 5k pot , calibrate the pot at your best sensitivity and then with a multimeter measure the resistance of the pot and make a resistor with that value or nearest.

SIR: VERY PLEASED WITH THE FIRST TWO PROJECTS. I THINK THE THIRD VIDEO IS WRONG ON THE DESCRIPTION ON WHERE TO CONNECT NEGATIVE OF LED. YOU ARE CONNECTING TO THE COLLECTOR AND NOT THE EMMITER. THEN, WHEN CONNECTING THE TWO EMMITERS YOU ARE WRIGHT. THE TWO THAT WERE CUT AND JOINT TOGETHER ARE OK.

To keep the transistor ON, ldr will try to OFF the transistor when there is light
