That was great. As a newbie I would never have thought of adding music first and matching the video to the music. That is now my new way of editing.

Thanks man, these tuts are great. Easy to use and focused on project rather than a rote step-by-step explanation of each feature. This makes it much more user friendly to learn.

I am newbie to all video editor software. Chose to use Lightworks is a very big challenge to me as it is quite complicated. At first, I have gone through many learning tutorials but failed to catch up until I found you. Thanks. Your tutorials are very informative, easy to understand and follow. It helps me a lot. I can't say I mastered the use of Lightworks, but at least I can create the videos now using Lightworks with confidence. Once again, thank you so much!

Brilliant! This one is especially good, because you just didn't teach lightworks, but a very important aspect of editing to music. It's an art.

Already did. Keep the good work coming. Your channel is bound to find more viewers. I had a question. Could you tell me how to rename a clip in the timeline. Like if you make a cut in a clip, you now have two clips. And if you want to rename one of the clips to something else, how does one do it?

I've only been using Lightworks for 2 weeks and I've managed to improve so much thanks to your tutorials. I've been learning to make sports editing videos and was wondering if there was a way to get a clock in the video similar to those that you see on TV sports broadcasts? Learning this would be really cool. Thanks a lot for all your help so far. Amazing videos. Keep it up.

How about you watch the picture in picture tutorial? If you already did then watch it again. Try to find a recorded clock as you said, and put it in the left up corner (instead of your face or a picture) in order to do what you want :D

ESH ICT actually I was wondering how I would go about kinda like blur out the background with like gameplay or video and putting text or an another video in the foreground (I know you did that picture in picture video )
@techismad
@techismad 7 жыл бұрын
Actually this is quite easy. Just follow the picture in picture tutorial, and then grab a DVE. You want the Stylize DVE's, and from there choose the Blur DVE which is the first one on the list. Drag that DVE and put it on the video that's the BOTTOM video track. You can then adjust the blur in the DVE settings. All the other video tracks on top won't be affected.

Does anyone know what it means when you come back to finish editing and your video isn't there? It just says media offline.
@techismad
@techismad 4 жыл бұрын
This is common - lets say you have all your videos in a folder on the desktop. You put them into Lightworks and then edit the movie. Later you move the folder to another place (like a USB stick). Now when you open the project again, it will show your clips as missing. You can put the clips back where they were, or re-link your clips in Lightworks. As long as you didn't delete the original clips, you should be ok

Why when i add videos from local media just cut the videos by itself and minimize them to 60 seconds and sounds like the chipmunks are singing? lol
@techismad
@techismad 3 жыл бұрын
that's definitely a format error. Lightworks doesn't know what videos you're trying to import. When you start a new project, it asks you what the framerate is of your clips, Choose "auto" and see if that helps.
