Best Gaming Keyboard ? - Logitech G910 Orion Spark Full Review [4K]

Very much later ... I found an Orion Spectrum renewed on Amazon last year and it's become my all-time favourite keyboard. Which is amazing because I've had bad luck with Logitech's newer keyboards.

Just found one in a thrift store for $3.99 like new, obviously had to swoop it up lol. Now I have to decide if I like it more than my gpro tkl with gx blue clicky or my g413 with basically the same switches. Just wish it was tkl because I do like the quieter keys it has and it looks better than the g413.

I guess the Roccat Skeltr is for a Smartphone using keyboard a better choice :/ I´m just wondering why Logitech creates a keyboard with a smartphone docking station but without a charging connection. I mean, what if the battery of my phone goes empty? I want the Logitech one so bad because of the Software (I already have a G19 and a G600, had also a G930 bit not using that anymore) And I like the keyboard design of logitech more BUT Skeltr functionalitys are better in my opinion, because u can switch between using the keyboard and Sound for your phone or PC. While youre gaming you get a call, you just press 1 button and you can speak with your buddy without taking the headphone off your head or pause the game, or you press just 1 button and you can chat with your whatsapp buddies using the keyboard for your phone. Also the App on Roccat got more functionalitys as the ARX of Logitech :( AND it has a micro usb to charge your phone ... I need a keyboard with the functionalitys of Roccat Skeltr and the design and software of Logitech :/ that would be so epic

My impressions of using the keyboard are a huge meh. I find the switches almost perfect for typing but too mushy for my liking when it comes to playing games

Warning: do not buy this complete garbage of a keyboard if you want something that lasts longer than two years. The Romer G switches are just one huge design flaw and will fail at about two years, just out of waranty. Logitech customer 'support' sucks and they don't take the customer serious on this matter. Well with me they have lost a life long and loyal customer. I've been buying there stuff since I was a kid but now they've lost me. How can they expect the customer to accept that a 150+ dollar keyboard fails just after two years!? Especially considering that when they released this garbage they advertised with the higher durability and reliability of the Romer G switches.. Be warned and don't buy this if you want something that lasts more than 2 years.

I just bought this keyboard (with cylindrical keycaps) and right now I'm using every excuse I can get to type something, cause it feels and sounds amazing, not to mention the highlight effect I'm using when typing .. the volume bar is sweet as well .. The only downside (but that's not Logitechs fault) is that I have a French AZERTY layout instead of a Belgian AZERTY (only one available in shop). There are slight differences in where some of the accents are. Even though I have the right keycaps right now, I might think of buying a new set but for the right layout then.. I'll see, but that will be for another time coz this keyboard costs a sweet penny. But it is definately worth it imo. BEST KEYBOARD EVER. and yea .. Sorry for my ranting, but the typing really feels amazing.

In my opinion I currently own this keyboard but coming from a Razer chroma keyboard it didn't have that mechanical feel BUT I still like logitech's typing experience WAY BETTER

Owned this one for 5 years or so, wasd key switch's wore out. either not registering or doubled in one press. I'm savvy enough to tear it down ( about 35 screws) swap the G keys for the wasd one and she works fine. you will need to unsolder and resolder to get switchs off though.

i love my g910, using aurora for controlling the RGB, it looks spectacular because of the per key lighting, my issues, is the lack of rgb on select keys, IE the media keys. and the low quality volume roller i had a g710 and the volume roller was metal, and had a very nice tactile feedback. and for the price why no USB ports? the g710 had 1!. other than those few bummers its defiantly worth it if you can find one for about 70-80$

It sounds like a good keyboard for gaming, but the wrist rest is really useless for people with long fingers. Also it looks like those typical 10$-keyboards. I think i would prefer the Corsair Strafe RGB with MX brown over this personally.

I really like the keyboard my only problem with it is the logitech software is full of problems had to download an older version to get it to work right . Its not a big deal but for $120 i expect it to work flawless .

+Kirigaya Kazuto All keys except for the media keys + volume wheel feel like plastic. The surface of the keyboard itself feels like rubber though but that's irrelevant since you (almost) never touch the surface itself. I bought mine about 2 months ago and I gotta say even though I bought a whole new PC + monitor and upgraded a 10 year old LGA-775 Q6600 PC to a X99 i7, I'm happiest with the G910 o.O Hope this comment is helpful. One (tiny) downside for me is the palm-rest. Not so much that it's too big or small but the fact that it's plastic means that it becomes a sweaty surface after intense usage where your left hand is on WSAD 100% of the time (Like CS:GO or another FPS).

Cleaning it is time consuming and the volume wheel stopped working properly after about one and a half year. But everything else works well and 3 years in the buttons still feels like new and snappy. But depending on the price, I would or would not recommend it.

The only thing that you skipped over was the games tab on the smartphone, I would have liked to know what that did. The only thing that held me back from buying this keyboard was the uneven arm rest. Ordered this, used it for 2-3 hours, packed it up and returned it. The wrist/palm rest is the deal break for me. IT IS GARBAGE. I'm currently using a G510s and that palm rest is great. The garbage G910 has a nearly useless palm rest and even the aftermarket replacement or swaps are bad from every review and comment i've seen (pretty much).
