I shoot with a back quiver and I switched to knock below like this gentleman. Its easier than I thought and WAAAAY more practical.

I wanted to hear the rest of the story about the man shooting the bear out of the tree stand. I really wanted to hear about how the bear got into the tree stand in the first place (ha!)

Fascinatingly useful tip about the combined actions of head tilt and canting the body and bow, in the siting process, to cut down the angle of deflection. (at about 6:50). Really good practical info!

8:52 Sorry but I can't but strongly disagree. I shoot like that just fine, probaly faster then this Guy. And I always shoot under the nock. Remember archery is about what works for you, not what has worked for Howard.

At 6:00 he’s speed shooting but not at a full draw.. archery is great because of all the different styles around the world but it does NOT hurt to anchor for a moment to set your aim and find your anchor point.. this demonstration is way overkill

+Bob CaSteel 49 #and I use this method with my 60" recurves. I don't even own a longbow. I did what he described in these videos for 3 months everyday 200 arrows. I have out shot some of my friends with compounds using what is taught here.
