It wasn't that I didn't believe you, I just had to see for myself. Just duplicated your demonstration as shooting close up at cardboard is not something I ever do. Same exact results. How am I just now learning this?? Thanks for the knowledge!

I started really shooting my guns about 4 to 5 years ago. Meaning putting a few hundred rounds down range on the weekend’s. And I started off using Federal 115 and then seeing some of the guys I watched and followed online using Fiocchi, I looked them up and stated to run them through my guns. And noticed how much cleaner my guns were at the end of a good range day by running the Fiocchi over the Federal. So that’s awesome to see that there is a big difference in the Quality of bullets and not just the “name brand”.

Keep up the good work and attention to detail. U are earning respect everytime u take time to explain.

This is part of why range ventilation matters if you’re shooting indoors. That lead on the target is in the air usually, and you want it being pulled down the range and then filtered out so you don’t breathe any of it.

Excellent info! I had this very question called in about it and you all solved the mystery. These days I can’t be too picky if I want to shoot any volume w 9mm. Nothing a little Hoppe 9 didn’t clean right up!

Great explanation! And the price points of all 3 rounds are similar right now.

Thank you! Any preferred brand/grain for target ammo that seems to run best in the DR920?
@ShadowSystemsCorp3 жыл бұрын
Hello. We recommend only "standard" weight loads in the 115, 124, and 147 grain range. The guns should run fine with the more exotic stuff (90 grain, etc.) but it's best to stick to tried and true since there are so many proven loads available in that range. I tend to gravitate toward 124 grain loads for general use and most of our testing has been with this bullet weight as it is the NATO standard. Trevor

I got a Chinese sks, found out the fmj was flaking off at the end of the barrel, i was told its because my barrel isn’t chrome lined and that i can fix that by polishing the barrel with a copper brush and some other stuff.

Interesting you can see the spiral with the lead rounds on the cardboard. You should do that and sell it as art.

Jay, it's actually pretty cool looking right?! But our art would need a Proposition 65 warning unfortunately. Trevor

It also must mean that you are breathing a dangerous amount of lead ! At that rate, I cannot believe t by at the ventilation system at the average indoor range could handle it if there are multiple shooters...

Going to wear an N95 mask on all indoor ranges from now on. No matter how good the ventilation with a bunch of people shooting that stuff hangs in the air and I can’t afford to kill even one brain cell. Never realized what you are showing me. Never seemed to matter but it is good to know and may change how I clean firearms.

I have the MR920 and although the trigger sucked major crap out of the box it's an amazing gun.
@ShadowSystemsCorp3 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for the comment. Did you find it improved as it broke in? We sometimes hear people really like the trigger as they get used to it and the gun breaks in. We definitely don't put a "match" trigger in the guns as they are intended for defensive use primarily. Glad you ended up loving the gun! Trevor
@heartwormskillcats83573 жыл бұрын
@@ShadowSystemsCorp Thanks Trevor! I have to say, for the money you simply can't beat Shadow Systems hands down. The trigger finally broke in after a bit of polishing, dry firing and a day at the range. Now my SS MR920 is utterly amazing. SS engineers and designers definitely knew what they were doing.
