I really like that these videos are unedited. Seeing you accidentally push the trigger pin through the frame of the gun is the exact same thing that will and has happened to many of us during the process. Great video, Trevor.

In 10 minutes a full take down explained with clear instruction and warnings, very impressive. If the view on the video was closer to parts and take down process it would have complimented the flawless demonstration. Top tier video.

I pick up a DR920 today and took it to the range, fantastic handgun!. I put through about 150 rds without a malfunction, it feels great in my hand. looking forward to put it through its paces.

You really need a B-Roll with close-up shots of what you are doing, while you talk about it. That will make the process MUCH more clear. Basic editing software will allow you to do this easily.
@Culperrr Жыл бұрын
How will "basic editing" allow him to get the B-Roll shots? You do realize that you have to film B-Roll, right?
@NTC_Transport Жыл бұрын
@@Culperrr Shooting the closeups was implied in the sentence where I said he needed to have B-Roll.

Is there any chance you can put a downloadable video on the website with some up close shots? Some ranges are remote and don't have phone or wifi service so having the video downloaded and available on a phone or other device would be extremely helpful.

I bought a CR920 Elite a couple of weeks ago. Liked it enough to pick up a used MR920 Elite from the same shop. I took them both out tonight. The MR has an odd thing I've never experienced with this type arm: maybe 1 in 10 shots I pull the trigger fully rearward to the frame and there's a delay before the striker does its magic. I cleaned it and tried it again. Same thing. Any suggestions?

I followed these directions, they were great by the way. However I am finding that the trigger pin backs out as I dry fire the pistol. Any advice as to how to adjust that?

Do you think its okay to polish the conector and trigger locations they ride on.
@natej79292 жыл бұрын
It would be great to know what part of the trigger assembly are OEM design, vs SS design. Obviously the trigger is SS, but the connector bar and connector seem to be OEM design.

My locking block pin pushes out pretty easy. It doesn’t walk out but i can pop it out no problem. Is that normal? Or should I get another locking block pin? Already was goin to order one.
@ShadowSystemsCorp Жыл бұрын
The pin is gently retained by the metal of the block that overlaps the hole from the inside. It really should not be hard to push out. What you are describing sounds very normal. If it is not walking out do not worry about it. Trevor

Informative video, but as Danny Lee stated, you should add some photos of how the parts should look when installed. The camera is too far from the small items.

I've had 3 failures to extract in my last range trip that consisted of 150rds. I have an optics ready slide... Do yall send out new extractor parts or would I need to send the slide back? Pretty disappointing considering this is the best shooting poly pistol on the market imo, and I've shot owned damn near all all them.

How many rounds do you have thru the MR920? I had issues during the first 50-100 rounds, no problem the next 50 rounds and then took a class and shot 500 rounds of Tula steel and had zero issues. love this system!

Contact their CS..THEY ARE THE BEST and im coming from experience. I fuxked my gun up and they still helped. Even when done continue to check in on me. They do have a legit breakin period where u should only use factory loads and no remans fo the first 500 to 1k rds

Well it's been 5 days (including Sat, sun) since their initial response to my first question. Apparently their CS isn't consistent...so far,, probably the worst experience I've with had with a gun company.

Hey Trevor, I think you should make a video about people having issues with their mag catch/ spring. I have posted videos of dropping mags while shooting and was sent a new mag catch and spring but I was still able to strip the mag by just pulling on it (others have still had issues after receiving replacement parts also). Between the shadow systems owners fb page and my YT videos many other people are running into the issues with either brand new guns or after a certain round count. I love the ergonomics of mr920 and how it shoots, I just don’t trust it as a edc with all the issues others are also having with dropping mags. I’m hoping I can get a comment or video back with an update of how many mr920s this is happening to (I know you have a better idea because you sent out the parts immediately because it’s a known problem) and a possible permanent fix. Your customer service has been great thus far please don’t disappoint now. Thanks

For anyone curious of what I’m talking I have 2 videos on my channel showing the issue and if you want more info on the issue join the shadow system owners fb page. It is starting to get discussed more frequently as more people are running into the issue.
