I work in sales so I know a lot of times these "everyman" items are sort of the bread and butter of any company. Getting your pistols priced more in line with factory Glock, Springfield, and S&W guns while still offering enhanced features is extremely competitive and will for sure yield more sales and growth. I'm excited to see you guys expand your reach, capabilities, and lineup.

@@BK-hl2lh There are very few frame parts out there rn. Black Phoenix customs did have a good bit but they stopped due to having QC complaints.Also, I would prefer the product to come from SS with a warranty

Trevor I'm a huge Glock fan and loved my G45 but unfortunately had to get rid of it. Looking to replace it finally and planned on getting another one but I recently got to handle the xr920 and absolutely feel in love with it. The price is a little high for me but the foundation series might just be my foot in the door to your line of pistols. But dang that flutted bronze barrel and slide cuts and everything else about the higher line. Keep up the good work. Who knows yall might just change my Glock mindset.

I love how you guys come up with a way to give maximum performance for minimal price(and i think price for elite/combat are very very reasonable). Not what most manufactureres do. Keep what is important and get rid of stuff thats there mostly for show but is costly(slide cuts, barrel fluting). With my round counts gun cost is negligable so i d still probably go for the elite.

Hi Trevor, a quick message to your company. The Delaware magazine limit is 17 rounds NOT 10 ROUNDS. The magazines for the CR920 hold 13 rounds and are not banned. Thanks.

I bought the MR920 foundation model (G19). It was still $700 +, and I shot 200 + rounds. Gun is still jamming and will not take my G19 mags. Did I get a bad one, or should I be patient? I'm not happy. Help.

Love my CR920. I was highly critical of it (as a never-glocker) but it has become my essential EDC gun starting this year and for the forseeable future. I'd love to get an MR too but I don't need another gun at a premium gun price--so this is great for shooters like myself. Great call on making this lineup of guns!

Yeah I got a combat earlier this year. No issues in my first 150 rounds, just make sure to have it run wet and it shot every type of 9mm ammo I bought (mostly “range grade” and the rest were defense loads, ranging from 115-157g). Don’t regret your purchase, I prefer the combat series over the elite, as window cuts can be more of nuisance when carrying. Combat has amazing attention to detail even if you paid full retail price. I got mine around $730 but saved a lot of money when buying magazines and accessories (can’t beat Glock mag prices, reason I turned away from Sig, HK, and FN).

If you couldn't afford it you shouldn't have bought it. This pistol is for those of us who are financially responsible enough to stop ourselves from buying a 889 dollar Combat, but still want the other features that Shadow Systems offers (optics mounting system, frame, Glock mag compatibility, etc).

Yeah, even though this is several hundred bucks cheaper, I still have my eyes on the CR920 Elite with a bronze barrel. It’s everything I’d want to do with a Glock out of the box, and is cheaper if I made a Glock with those specs… idk why but I’m a sucker for some spiral fluting

They're killing it alright. 8 week turnaround for my CR920 that was having constant failures to feed and light strikes. Then to top it all off they send the gun back to me with a different slide than it came with (although it was to my advantage as I originally had a "Combat Optic" slide and the gun was returned with an "Elite" slide") along with a missing optics cover plate and screws which took an additional nearly two weeks to get.

@@SliderFury1 that has yet to be determined as I have not had the opportunity to go to the range to test it. However the wait time was significantly longer than I was initially told, and the mistakes resulting in the different slide and missing parts is unacceptable.

@@insanetripod1989 I don't agree. When you're told you will get a response by someone by the end of the day and you don't that is unacceptable. I was told on two different occasions when trying to get my replacement optics plate and screws that the shipment would go out that day and both times I had to call in because they did not. I have NEVER had anything close to this bad of an experience in my dealings with Glock, S&W, Century Arms, or Ruger. Don't get me wrong, while I'm ok with getting the upgraded slide, the simple fact that the person performing the work made two gross mistakes, in addition to my issues with getting the missing parts does not back up their claims of impeccable Customer Service as portrayed in their KZbin videos.

I mean 9mm is the logical choice. No justification for 40 anymore, and 10mm is still kinda niche. The most logical next step would be a .22 trainer or a .380 version of the CR920. But 9mm is a wise business decision.

What are you talking about? XR920 Combat with the 10rd mag is 889 at almost all the local gun stores in my area. Cheapest I can find the standard XR920 combat using a site that pulls from all available postings it can find is 853. Both of these prices are 174-210 dollars cheaper and that's assuming the FS series stays at MAP.

I’m still snubbing my nose at this feeling like it’s a combat optic, but cheaper. So those of us that didn’t buy an MR920 elite, bought a MR920 combat optic…. We over paid. Great way to snub your middle class buyers (combat optic being the middle class) by offering the same for less now.

Ah the penny pincher rears his ugly head...the combats come with the magwell, night sites, aluminum trigger. Add all those parts together and you get a more expensive gun that is just missing all the goofy bling and the dirt ingress cuts. They didn't snub you, you were the one who made the financial decision to buy a SS. You got some extra features that the foundation series buyers will have to buy separately, be happy with your purchase.

combat comes with Aluminum trigger shoe, mag well, night sights, stainless recoil rod and a fluted barrel. The fluted barrel alone is a much bigger expense in machining.

It's a Glock clone with a better optics mounting system, better frame, ability to alter your grip angle, and a pretty crazy warranty. Glock is fine but at the very minimum you have to pay or do an undercut yourself if you shoot regularly. Shadow Systems is offering all the things people want on a Glock at essentially stock Glock pricing now...
