If Indian Govt start putting people behind bars for downloading torrents then they will have to do the same with every person who breaks a traffic signal also. Piracy is great way to promote movies. Watching a movie today means spending atleast 1000 rupees if you include the threatre + Taxi + Popcorn that you buy. Can a middle class or power class Indian afford it ? Our Indian Movie stars are the Richest in the world today so the logic that they industry is loosing out is bullshit. According to Indian Copyright act " creations or Intellectual property(Videos/movies/painting/Books) is copyright to creators during their lifetime and after 65 years of the death of creator. you can legally download movies or books whose creator died 65 years ago.
