That's cool...I hack that to use it on a kids powerwheels or go kart..ect it dosnt need to go super fast..12-15 mph is fine. I'll gear it accordingly....Used hoverboards motors and bike parts are cheap and easy to get.

Julgando pelo olhar parece ser um de 48/24 volts, so não achei muito eficiente ele não acoplar diratamente a roda, talvez não muito torque?

I think you should use a larger freewheel in the back,,, that will give this bicycle a medium torque and speed,, the configuration you have used, that will give a top end speed, but lack of acceleration,

I dare say that if he can operate a lathe and a welding torch, source the components, and get it all working, he's more than able to fix on some foot rests. Its an experiment. I'd imagine, too, that he'll mount the battery more solidly too, but it all takes time,doesn't it? Early bikes didn't have pedals or footrests, don't forget, it helped with balance on a rough road to have feet loose.

It really has no big advantage over having left it as a hub motor but if you add a derailleur and rear cassette now you'll have giviem yourself a big advantage over the original Hub motor but without the benefits of the gear ratios it's going to be just about like it was but just in a different location

no you can't. as it is programmed to move forward or backward when weight is applied in the relative direction. you can use any 36/48v chinese brushless motor controller ranging from 250 to 750 watts

В колесе МК будет перегреваться, в идеале для такого мотора нужно передаточное отношение 3:1 (за 3 оборота МК колесо обернётся 1 раз), таким образом увеличить крутящий момент

Verry nice priject thank you... but hey... the motor of cours will over heat and the acceleration will not be good... try changing the sproket of rear wheel with much bigger one... the result will be so much better... hope to see that in avideo... thank you... also i think that s a led acid battery... try using li ion in 15s (54v) and about 20 Ah... it will be awesome

1:1 ratio is too low. motor is heating up. you should put gear ratio at least 1:3
