I'm someone who's never been a fan of the silicon ear tips, but bc of the noise cancelling I've just dealt with the pros. I'm happy we're getting some sort of anc on a non rubber tip airpod

@@Clarabadboy17 i did the same as OP but every time I eat they seem to fall out of my ears, my ears particularly hurt after 2 hours or so. I don't like the silicone i tried xs and small and couldn't get a great fit on them

I just picked up the air pod 4 ANC and I love them! I previously had the air pod pros 1. I can wear the 4s all day comfortably and even though the ANC isn’t as good as the pros it’s definitely worth it. I was really impressed with the ANC without the rubber tips. Lastly they fit amazingly well in my ears, this was a outstanding decision to switch to them💪🏾

I have AirPods Pro 2, but every time I put them on, they make my ears itch, which I don't like. I will try AirPods 4 to see how they sound. If I like them, I will keep them for sure.

I grabbed the 4anc on sale for 139.99 - I’ve had the pro 2’s for a while but got sick of constantly pushing them back in due to the tips wearing out. The 4’s are a great alternative I use them for the gym etc and they do a great job of canceling noise. Not a fan of in the ear anymore.

The difference in microphone quality is huge. The new fours sound much better, clearer and they don't have the weird audible compression side effects the pro 2's have. Hope they stand out in the real world as well.

Based on what I’ve seen and heard in several reviews, I’ve ordered the 4s with ANC. It is personal though whether you like or dislike silicone tips in your ears. I don’t like it and also find the microphone quality important. Heard a few pro 2s in Teams calls, regular phone calls and they keep on failing, especially when conditions are imperfect.

that would be the pros 2 because your ear is completely sealed with the silicone tip, airpods 4 would do the job in certain circumstances but not as nearly as good as the pros 2 since their tip is open and the machinery that you’re using is really close and really loud. so the pros 2 would be the best fit for you

Thinking about buying the airpods 4s tomorrow. Bought the airpods pro 2 with USBC to try them out and found that I would experience ear pain after wearing for more than an hour, so I returned them after 4 days. I have some questions about the airpods 4s. My first question is can you charge the airpods 4 case without the ear buds being inside it and does the battery percentage of the buds and the charging case appear in the battery widget even if the lid of the case is closed?

@@InaktiverUserYes you can charge them without the AirPods in the case you can literally do this with all AirPods 💀 the charger does not charge the AirPods in the first place that’s what the case is for. Charger only charges the case so why would the AirPods NEED to be inside

You forgot to mention that the pro 2 can cause cabin pressure and give you ear fatigue much faster especially with ANC on.

Yes, the ear tips never worked for my ears but the 4s are great. Very comfortable and solid noise cancelling
