WBS milestone complete seems particularly useful when WBS entirely corresponds Bill of Quantities valued against rules of credit. In this case activities reflect the site works whilst WBS mainly contributes to valuation and financial matters.

i have never used WBS milestone complete..i have not seen it used any schedules at all

if WBS Milestones percent complete selected, will it change the activities Actuals automatically ?

Hi Michael, I have a resource - cost loaded plan , the performance % is shown zero, I have checked all the settings , could you please advise hoe to resolve the issue . Thank you

Could be a bunch of things. Is it 0% for activities or WBS? Is there progress with values in the "Actuals" fields - Actual Budgeted Cost, Actual Budgeted Units.? I would check those first.

Excellent, I have small clarification, currently I'm working on Master schedule as vendor which contains both contractor and vendor wbs/activities. I update only vendor activities. So when I filter my vendor activities p6 is not summarizing performance %complete. Could you please help to summarize

Dear Sir, When i update the schedule i have performance % values in activities . But in the WBS the performance % is showing as Zero. Please guide me to solve this issue. As i already refresh the schedule many times but still it is showing Zero

0%100% is useful for engineering activities updates , but the problem is settings is qpplied to entire schedule not to certain activity only .

Custom also is ok like 75% and 100%

actually, you can apply this to each WBS in P6. So it's applied at the WBS level. Check the WBS screen and tabs for the settings.
