As an offensive lineman I can see that there he has no base at all while driving (feet are to close together) and he is leaning forward to much while a good d-lineman will pull him forward and he looses balance

Quarvez Boulware As a 20 year line coach, have to disagree with you. He specifically states they are working OUTSIDE ZONE technique. There is no Drive in this scenario. It’s a full reach to open the shoulder and allow the trailing OL in the OZ scheme to take over so he can work up to the second level.p and leverage the LB. There is no focus on a base in this technique. This is all leverage work
