I was halfway through his goodbye speech, still believing it to be an elaborate joke before it hit me like a freight train that this could never have been a joke, and that I just didn't want it to be true. This reminded me of my Grandad. I remember the last thing I ever said to him: "I love you." I don't know why, but it felt like I wouldn't see him again after that. He had a stroke about a week later. This has to be one of the best tribute videos I've seen. I've watched a lot of your videos, including race to the moon and mission to Mars, a long with a lot of your bed Wars with Ash. I never knew you and Techno played together. Great message at the end! I once heard someone say that you die two times, once when you physically die, and again the last time someone says your name. In that sense, Technoblade will never die.

Really enjoyed watching this. I was a big fan of Stampy + Squid growing up, and quickly grew to be a techno fan around that time you found out about him too, right as bedwars released on hypixel. i also remember that day... my son was home... he was 13 at the time... we both cried... so we went out to get some tacos at a random spot... it was comfort food... now we call that spot techno tacos... so like every couple of months he come up to me and says.. lets go for some techno tacos... so we go always for the comfort food... technos death was my son's first time dealing with loss... so in a way techno helped my son deal with loss, since then my mother (his granma) passed away 4 months ago and i feel like he was better prepared for that... thanks techno... and also.. i remember watching the tournament you won with techno live.. i was at work i did not care... im 44 btw gamer for life

I admire the genuine honesty in this vid. squid telling about his relationship from start to finish with techno really makes you appreciate the people that just pop into your life for a brief moment and then are suddenly gone. I still remember coming downstairs to do my schoolwork and the news was playing and just hearing them announce it. It was crushing- I never was a Technoblade fan, but at the time I watched dsmp etc because my friends were into it. It just felt like it shouldn’t be able to happen- the people we look up to, the people who share their joy and entertain strangers on the internet. They’re too important in so many people’s lives to be “allowed” to die. Happy Birthday Techno, and thank you for using your time with us all to inspire people and to make people happy.
