Why I sold my lucid Air - this is my take before watching the video: seeing how you cycle through EVs like changing phones, it's not surprising you're selling it since you just got your Rivian and still have another Rivian on order. Pretty sure you still have a Tesla too haha.. At some point it's hard to justify having so many cars when only 2 are driven

Yes, having a car like this does kind of trick one into being a brand ambasador. Sometimes it can be a little awkward. What I'm _really_ tired of is people driving w/ one hand and swerving while trying to take a picture in freeway traffic. Not that often, but often enough to get under my skin.

Here's a better reason. I'm done making videos with it. Gained some followers and views because not a lot of people have it and also owners aren't making videos with it.The Lucids job is done. You sold it. Also since Rivian is a pickup truck you can register it as work vehicle and save tax + EV tax returns for 2022

I have a Tacoma. It’s practical. A truck is needed for a family and home owners to haul whatever whenever. You don’t need a full size truck. Mid size like a R1 will do the job. Get a truck.

It’s just not for me. If I see a Lucid on the road I will admire it for being electric but I’m going to be saying wow, look at that… ugly thing. It’s all subjective. Hey, here’s to an awesome comment from you about range. I think folks that say range like 500 mile+ isn’t important are drinking too much Elon cool aid. Yes, you probably don’t need it daily but when you do, it’s a pain in the but, especially if you’re traveling with a group of ppl and they all have to wait for you to charge.

Lucid does not have what Tesla has... the software, the self driving, etc. And if you think getting service for a Tesla is tough, Lucid will be impossible. There really is no comparison, one is getting to scale where it can be depended on. The other is still in start-up stage.
