No biggie, im sure you got lots of contacts, i live in San Diego and we talked about moving your dirt separator above the walls hight and pushing the dirt over saving work !shovel up not out !and ice cubs ! Again if i crossed any boundaries with my suggestions i APOLOGIZE! Its my dream to do what you are doing/ homestead , but not the walls stuff, im more a glass pyramid covering the entire house and property with a captians / look out bedroom on point of pyramid ! I want to control the airflow out side the house but under the pyramid with a built in tower to put a wind / power generator on top! So a house with a tower in middle to top of pyramid with little bedroom on top for view! Im way past a simple homestead in my imagination but its all proven technology except the pyramid environment and longevity! WELCOME TO MY WORLD 😊 again hope im not stepping on any toes , just sharing !😊

I still can't travel much! healing is slow, I'm more intrested in weather in your environment and how it compares to environment in places like iran . their passive air flow systems are very interesting to me . IMAGINE a pyramid with a part facing south insulated and separate from environment in rest of pyramid being used as greenhouse/ heater for with pipes inside greenhouse to heat the air inside the pipes to increase airflow in pipes coming from in house Using a ground system to cool the air ! it should be automatic and you can do the same , its proven technology im just way past eccentric! All you need is south facing room with tower to heat the air then use it to heat pipes from house in tower for air flow! Ya i know !😊

That’s a great price… I have two eco flows but I want a couple more of these things… one more for basic use and another one for more high wattage usage. Was thinking of trying an oupes and I’d love to support you this way.

I just reserved… it’s a $1 to reserve but they even took of 5 cents with the growtree discount code… so my price will be 449… super stoked as I just need one more basic unit like this… now, I gotta figure out how I want to run my wood chipper and saws and such. And it does say they ship via usps so I should be good to go with a PO Box… I’ll keep you posted if you’d like.

I got the oupes mega 2 a month ago for backup power to my kitchen appliances. I did have an issue with the first unit not charging properly from solar but their customer service promptly helped me get a replacement that’s working great so far. I recently ordered an extra battery pack to connect to it to make sure I can go a few days on an extended power outage. I like how the mega 2 is still under 50 pounds and relatively small form factor that sits next to my fridge and freezer.

One thing to check on, regarding these companies, is whether they ship to P.O. Box. I tried to have my eco flow, that I bought from the eco flow website, let me out in a P.O. Box, but they actually don’t ship to P.O. Boxes and I had to deal with changing my address. Not that it was a big deal… but if you are doing reviews … that’s a good thing for us off grid people to know. I suspect a lot of people who are already off grid, watch your content. I can have fed ex and ups deliver to my off grid location, but I’d rather just pick up at P.O. Box and not risk incurring extra delivery charge… or delays as the roads get bad. Plus I’m checking my pi box once a week anyways.

@@OfftoShambala Oupes uses FedEx for shipping (at least in the times I ordered) but I’m not sure if they allow P.O. Boxes. The first time I had to be present and sign for delivery with photo ID. I suspect due to high value shipment they want to make sure it’s delivered to the right person so they minimize chargebacks.

I absolutely love my Mega 1! The introductory prices make it easier to get 2 units-one to use while the other is charging. I was amazed at how fast mine recharged using just one of the Oupes 240-watt panels. I got over 30% in under 2 hours on a decent, sunny day. It may have been faster, but I just know it was full when I checked at 2 hours. I actually got 2 of the refurbished solar panels on eBay for a really decent price, but I haven’t tried charging the Mega 1 using both panels at once yet.

@@GrowTreeOrganics I did some reading and it evidently has it though the company says not to use it. That's a teeny bit scary. They claim that it will shorten the life of the battery but that hasn't been the case with my jackery. There are those claiming design flaw but I don't know if they know what they're talking about. I looked up the price and it is probably for opening promotion far below what other products of its kind are going for.
