Okay, the smart toilet. Practical question: the placement of the camera puts it in the "splash zone" that can occur with an upset stomach. How the heck does one clean that thing properly?
@edenrose23743 жыл бұрын
You dont, the company charges you a subscription fee to clean it and charges you a fine if you tamper with it. - Its also completely worthless as outside of other data, processing /video footage/ of a stool /in motion/ is completely pointless. However its great for selling the data back to your insurance company so they can raise your rates for "Unhealthy diet" when they assume that third greasy stool was caused by fatty food, and a precursor to fatty liver. Rather than you switched to a vegan diet and are producing more bile as gut flora has to go through digestive changes... It doesnt take a medical professional to tell you things like this are pointless from a diagnostic perspective unless combined with other data and if thats the case, taking the information and telling a physician is a smarter choice, than trusting a AI model trained on WebMD... | Major problem with detecting medical conditions early is most symptoms overlap, and bloodwork is usually the most efficient method of diagnosis...

no. they wouldn't. | most call centres only sound loud when calling due to the cost saving measures employed by the company. | Cheapest equipment, cheapest working area with more densely packed as possible cubicle areas. Most based in India are open floors with people shoulder-to-shoulder, with 30 year old phones and microphones that are the quality of toothpicks. | This is not a design fault of the microphone in use, even this product would pick up all the noise from the people talking literally inches away. | this a fault with the company that outsourced to them in the first place based on cost alone. Just thinking that if the cubes/pixels were smaller and the meal made faster, all kinds of things could be made and also provide a form of entertainment during a meal. Some ideas to think about. :)

While I understand your position, it's not so much the "abuse" of the imagery that concerns me; It's the linking of the data to a personal profile - lack of anonymity - and, ultimately, the link to personal medical data that would concern me. Otherwise, if there are people out there that could exploit said imagery for personal...gratification...that's their problem, not mine. Bodies are bodies, and we all have the same three parts. My biggest issue is if the images and/or videos made it on to some questionable for-profit website. I'd be concerned with collecting my share of the cut. Call it...passive income. (For the pun @Robbie H)
@edenrose23743 жыл бұрын
@@jonh284 lets be honest here, thats the point of this. No AI is going to be able to make any diagnostic data without knowing other details like, height, weight, age, gender and diet. 90% of the datapoints it would collect are useless. Greasy loose stool? Everything from eating more greens to fatty liver can cause this. High white blood cell count in urine? Everything from scraping your knee to cancer can cause this. Having this as a data point is kinda useful, but only to your doctor... | You can train a AI on as much WebMD as you want, but 90% of conditions overlap with another. | i mean loose stool alone is a symptom of nearly every known condition, including psychological ones! So the only thing this is good for is being a addictive gimmick that gives datapoints to people interested in it (IE: Insurance Providers) - Data is more valuable than subscription fees these days and most people dont even realize it.

its entirely a workable design. Generating energy from mechanical motion is entirely possible and already done in other industries. | it would be better however to store the energy and have a on/off switch for the vacuum. | Also, if you were to keep the always-on design, it would be more efficient to use a mechanical compressor vacuum with appropriate gearing, then this design. As short bursts of energy powering a demanding DC motor is pointless (DC motors are generally very inefficient at low voltages and produce incredibly low torque in general. This is why electric cars were considered impossible for so long. As storing enough amps to power most DC engines was a fools errand). Being these shoes use off-the-shelf parts outside the dump-bin, its all going to fall flat. -- Redesigning this to use a boot format would be wiser, as it gives you more room, you can replace the heel with a bin and make it more convenient with ease of use, and the vertical space can be used for energy storage. | this allows you to make stylish design decisions without compromise.

as someone who typically is awake wail siblings in our house are asleep. I think the hush me microphone sounds like a good useful concept for a nighttime mic. I still wouldn't use it as my main mic during daytime but it seems nice to have on hand for nighttime gamers with ought a soundproofed room.

or you know, not outsourcing to third world countries, with the worst working conditions and worlds worst equipment would work too... | fyi, these devices still would pick up the vibrations from the air outside the casing. Neutralising its effectiveness in those environments. They work by making it difficult for others to hear you, they dont make it easier for those you are talking to, to hear you... | the call would still sound noisy, and muffled... - the solution to bad call centres, is simply not supporting the companies that use bad call centers. its that simple.

@@edenrose2374 not all come from large call centers especially medical calls. They are not outsourced to other countries but it's hard to hear over each other. Why assume i was talking about large call centers outside the country?
