Its sad to think about most of these billionaire could spend some of the wealth to improve Humanity,technology, science and research, cures for diseases and or help to reverse climate change by investing in source of more cleaner alternative energy. I get this feeling that if they wanted to or truly try to, that there are certain things that money simply cannot buy. When told why not such things should never take place there's a clear understanding. Free energy = No workers Health Care = Overpopulation Tech = E-waste or Singularity Religion and Science = Political Dogma Climate Change = Humans or Natural Wildlife. The list can go on & on. These are only the known and recorded billionaires on earth what about the unknown rare trillions dotted across this planet that no one knows about because these individuals are running the show and like to it keep a secret..? It doesn't help that any law put in place intended to target wealthy people usually makes things worse for poor people. For example, most rich people do not work for wages, so they legally don't earn any income to pay taxes on by US standards. Their money mostly comes from capital gains which usually generated by sales and investments. So when income taxes are raised it only affects people that work for an annual salary, at an hourly rate, or as private contractors for wages. If capital gains taxes are raised rich people can just move their money to another country with lower taxes and/or pay teams of tax lawyers to get the best deal while and poor people that can't get hit hard with that tax instead when they go to sell their home. Jeff Bezos advocates for higher taxes because he knows smaller businesses that can't pay them will close down, which will increase his market share and the profit along with that will more than cover the increase in taxes.

Had a friend once that his dad owned a 5 story hotel in brisbane (australia) they rented rooms out and it was a fully functional hotel with a pool and everything, my friend got a whole room to himself with his own master bedroom, bathroom, living room with a smart tv and a kitchen. It was pretty cool being able to basically have a whole house to ourselves when i came over, but we ended up going are separate ways once we graduated high school. Cool guy though

Sheesh, why are people such pathetic dicks now adays online? Nothing better to do than throw petty pointless comments on peoples posts. To the OP, I appreciate you sharing a memory about wealthy individual. I had a friend who's parents owned multiple mansions and, even though people labeled my friend as a "spoiled millionaires son", he was pretty chill. We played Halo together and he never flaunted his parents wealth. His parents were pretty humble as well. Not to drag on too much but, I got injured at his house while playing hockey in his basement one time and his parents were afraid my parents would sue them. I felt kind've bad since that must be a constant fear for people that wealthy.

Let’s be real here first of all they can do whatever they want with their money if they worked hard for it. Second no one would donate all their money to the poor cause humans are dumb ass shit bags. Second most rich people do donate whether it’s the kindness of their hearts of just for tax deduction reasons.

@douglasgriffiths35343 жыл бұрын
The famous barrel horse Scamper (Gill's Bay Boy) was cloned in 2006. He was kept a stallion, the original Scamper was a gelding. The clone's name is Clayton. I don't know if Charmayne competes on him or not, but as a clone, he and any offspring can't be registered by AQHA. Bet Your Blue Boons, another famous Quarter horse (a mare this time) has several clones. All mares, of course. Same thing---they or their offspring can't be registered. (Jan Griffiths).

The first titanic failed because of so many reasons all combined. If there weren’t so many pre-existing problems with the ship and the staff then it would’ve been fine. If they didn’t turn or turned earlier, they would be fine. If they had multiple binoculars, they would have saw the iceberg. If the designer didn’t remove so many lifeboats, more people could have lived

All this and yet… - Military veterans can’t get proper mental or physical care. - Schools are desperate for supplies. - The homeless have no place to rest their heads. - Children go hungry. - Brilliant students have to abandon their dream of higher education. - Seniors can’t afford medical care or cost of prescriptions. I get that everyone has the right to spend their (or their daddy’s 😏 ) money but while watching this I couldn’t help but think that charity and philanthropy could have been a better choice… I’m sure that many already donate to many charities (tho for reasons they actually care about or the tax write offs I couldn’t say). I just think charity would have been better than purchasing thousands of cars or gold poop. The rich are definitely out of touch with the real world… 🤷🏻♀️😢
