How to make Moisture absorber | Dehumidifier | Air Purifier

It is a tutorial video to make an electronic Dehumidifier machine for a room.
It can absorb extra water from Air & purify the air.
it can be very useful in Monson season & damp place where is more humidity in the air.
To make it I have used a thermoelectric Peltier module which works on 12V.
Please use a minimum 10amp power supply for it.

Was here to say that! Or on a 45 \\\ to get best balance between airflow and drainage. Also moisure should run into a reservoir below the airbox so you arent rehumidifying the air again. Some baffles to direct airflow to areas of usefullness would also help effiency a bucketload

Or he could have put the intake fan on the top of the box and leave the sink as it is now, this way gravity and the air flow both help the water run down, and yes a reservoir tank would be good too.

Bad design with many mistakes ... 1-The wood is too thick that the thermal paste is way far from the heatsink. 2-Wood is not safe in such products. 3-Wires should be hanged on top of the box so they wont touch the water. 4-There is no proper isolation between the Hot and Cold chambers which will reduce efficiency. 5-Water Discharge is a fail, imagine leaving the device for a day, it will over flow with water and shorten itself !

@@mirza6399 loved your prototype, looks very nice, practical and cheap to build, the guy on top dont know how to speak. he shouldve made a suggestion instead using bad words... I've made one similar, but i've placed the peltier in the top of the plastic container lid, and the heat side on top and cold side at bottom, the inside space is empty and it acts as a water collector and drain when its half full

won't work, peltier modules are extremely energy inefficient, as soon as you blow air through the cold heat sink, the temperature of the heat sink rises to close to that of the air. You are better off using standard compressor ac to save on electricity.

In The future you need to cover the whole Thermal Electric Cooler (TEC) with heat transfer compound or the area's not covered will burn out, and the whole TEC will be dead.

Use a couple of TEC12715 peltiers if u want but it will still take about 20 mins. No way it is gonna be 5 mins. Thermo electric cooling ain't that efficient.

Do dehumifers kill mold already in a bedroom or do they just stop new mold appearing I have mold in my bedroom also is it ok and effective to use salt in dehumifer or damp trap when Crystal's have run out I wanna save money and not have to keep buying more dehumifers and damp traps

If the room dries up, the mold dies, but you will have to remove it from the walls, it won't just disappear on it's own.

@@taramiller70 well, mold and mildew grows on humid dark places, like most of the fungi, so if the dehumidifier manages to dry the house the problem will go away.

Great idea, very poor execution. You know you can use thicker wood to screw things down and have better durability and stability, right? So messy and ultimately, ugly. Just my cheap opinion though.

The wood is already too thick for proper thermal contact with the heat sinks. Thicker would just make it worse.

I use a similar design in a small grow cabinet in my kitchen to prevent the growth of mold from humidity. Peltier elements work great because the small form factor perfectly fits the size of the cabinet and I don't have to work with hazardous refrigerants (which I have used to larger projects). The small level of inefficiency is perfectly acceptable for the more practical size and construction. That being said, my design is also a bit different from theirs to be more practical and efficient.

The peltier module is a thermo-electric device when it's switched on one side heats up, while the other gets cold, in order for the module to run properly the excess heat must go, so to answer your question, no, this thing will blow out warm air.

Yes, air conditioners dehumidify the room while cooling. Most air conditioners also have a "dry" setting which is for even more efficient moisture removal...
