Thank you sir! You need to have the scarlet solo interface to connect to the computer via usb. I did not install any drivers from cd. It was detected automatically. And i could select the device in the audacity input device selection. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 👍🙂

Hey there! You need an audio interface in order to get sound out of the mic. The audio interface has a headphone jack, additionally ab audio out at the back as well. You can use these outputs to connect to an amplifier that has speaker. Hope this helps!

Hey there! I took a very quick look at some specs. The AKG P420 has 3 polar patterns while the 220 only records in cardioid mode. Given price is more or less same, I think the 420 would be a better choice. I haven't personally used any of these, just extracted some info on specs and features. Do I need a desk stand? Where to put it

Yes. A desk stand or a boom arm is needed. The shock mount attaches to the desk stand. If you dont want to use shock mount, then you can get a stand mount, that directly attaches the stand and mic. Here is the link for stand mount. amzn.to/3xZv9KX If you dont want to purchase any stand, then you can try using the provided shock mount itself as desk stand. Just invert the shock mount upside down and attach the mic at the bottom side! 🙃

Woh nahi hai. Separate khareedna padega bhai. Amazon mein milega.. Ya phir table pe agar rakhna hai.. Agar urgent hai toh...Ek tareekha hai, bina stick ka..microphone ko shock mount ulta karke fit karo. Aur shock mount basket ko ulta rakho table ke upar. Xlr cable bhee fit hojayega neeche.

Microphone requires phantom power. You need a USB audio interface in order to connect to a computer. The interface can provide phantom power, that can be used to connect (xlr) to the mic.

Sorry..I have not tried it anytime connecting the usb from the audio interface to mobile phone. Hence, not sure 🙄

It works but the functionality is buggy. I have a different interface which has an option for external power so that you can attach it to battery powered devices (stienberg ur12). It worked flawlessly till android 10. I faced issues on android 11 where the recording will stutter randomly. on iOS 13, the interface didn’t work as intended, recording only to left channel, and there was no setting in the app and os to change that. Latest iOS 14 fixed the issue, although I won’t recommend purchasing such expensive equipment for such broken functionality.
