First they came for the forklifts but I did not say anything because I was not a forklift driver. Then they came for the loaders but I did not say anything because I was not a loader. Next they came for the managers but I did not say anything because I was not a manager. Finally they came for the mechanics and no one was left to speak for me.

Whenever I see something like this I wonder if I should pick either mechanical engineering or mechatronic engineering. I don’t know, I think that I would have a lot more worth for the world if I choose the second option. But I have to consider that a live in a third world country, where it isn’t really appreciated. Could mechanical engineering be somehow obsolete in the future? Is there anyone in either of those areas who can help me out?
