I do feel this is a bit of false information. Not every single phone out there has an official TWRP recovery build. The only ones that get official builds are the ones that people actually know about and buy. You're not going to get a TCL LX custom recovery, let alone a custom ROM.

Funny, I've had at least a dozen different Samsung phones and several Sony phones and not a single one ever immediately deleted anything, so I'm unsure why anyone would think that, I'm currently using a Sony Xperia Z5 and that too doesn't immediately delete anything, although I understand that's not the point you're trying to make. Which obscure version of Samsung are you using that I seem to have missed? In my experience OEM Unlock literally just unlocks the ability to flash a new image without the need of a PC, flashing using the SD card, I'm not going to try and say I'm any kind of expert on the matter but the evidence is insurmountable imo, out of the uncountable amount of phones I've had not ONE which has the OEM Unlock option has ever immediately deleted anything on any phone, that's what the Factory Reset option is for, is it not? Or am I missing something that makes it necessary to have the exact same function in 2 different places in your menu but under 2 completely different names? 🤦‍♂️

Hello sir. Samsung devices is more easily to add recovery. Just unlock oem and allow usb debugging. Open odin and dont forget to install Samsung drivers then get the specific recovery system for your device for example in twrp, you can find the specific build recovery for your device.

And also waiting for device means your device is not properly connected just make your usb debugging asks you to allow and then type adb devices to see your whether device is listed or not. It should show you a random code listed.

You dont need computer actually. İnstall kingroot and make half root. After half root download rashr app on google play. Download twrp for phone model. Then give permissions for rashr and install recovery from storage. Select twrp and boom. You have custom recovery.

Neither of my phones can do this. Should change headline. Zmax Pro nor Stylo 4 are available to do this owing to their locked bootloaders.

Hi, i have xperia xz1 softbank and when i m going for ubl, sony website shows this (Tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.) my device says no, so now is there any other way to install twrp in device?
