Tribit stormbox mini for 30 or less is a way better deal. 2 drivers, rgb, 12w, fast charge, longer battery life and looks. Got mine on sale for $22 on amazon. The bass is double than the go4 and significantly louder. The clarity of the go4 is better and is a smaller speaker. I own the go4 as well but like the tribit way more. Tribit is bigger tho and 2.5x the watts with 2 drivers so it makes sense it beats the go4. Unless u need a super small form factor the stormbox mini is way better and the stormbox mini isnt that much bigger than the go4 tho.

Wish the back of the go4 had a secondary bass radiator. It would probably give it even more bass?

I think that wouldn't work because JBL engineers have probably pushed the maximum bass out of such a small speaker.

@@Techscrews DIY has a lot more fun, and will let you save $$, a clip 5 or go 4 are sold for 50-60$, that amplifier combined with a shelf speaker that is 40-50$ it will sound way better than a flip 6, and it’s on the same target price.

The sad thing about this speaker they give less life of the driver which one get old & torn you will not be able to change or replace like the quality of the speaker itself.

I couldn't agree. If used properly without overloading it with extreme bass, it will last for years. I still have a JBL Go1 that works.

@@Techscrews strange! all the ones I've seen disassembled have the electronic board in blue, not green... and they don't have those three cylinders glued onto the board which I don't understand what they're for! Furthermore, the Bluetooth card is also completely different!
