The ess dac is only for The headphone out, It’s a DAC with a op-amp.. The ma12070p only accepts PCM in, so The dac is internal in The chip

@@marceloc.morais5092 what? 12070 accepts analog signal only. It has a I2C buss to read/write internal parameters like PMA scheme, reaction on a clipping or DC on an output, etc.

Soldering is fine, they just didn't clean flux residues left after hand soldering, that's all. BTW why would there be mild stresses inside an amp?

2 year of ownership, more daily use than not, no problems to report. Everything works as it should, including the remote!

Analog, SPDIF and BT inputs, pretty good amplifier IC, capable DAC from ESS, all housed in a metal chassis with an LCD screen. I also see Nichicon and WIMA caps used. Price seems pretty good to me. Show me a better built and better equipped dac amp at this price, or a similar one at 90USD that you mentioned.

A30 is an expensive and completely useless toy. Low power and high distortion, old DAC and low-quality bluetooth. The coaxial inlet is combined with the RCA inlet. The choice of the indicator color is, of course, touching, but this once again says that the amplifier is a toy.

@@Techscrews Ali's website has many suggestions for amplifiers with DACs and bluetooth. The price is two times lower than the A30, and the basic parameters are better. Yes, not such a beautiful case, no indicator, simple packaging, but a high-quality DAC and bluetooth, less distortion and more power. A30 is a beautiful, useless toy.
