You could’ve just routed the small end of the cable in the back through the hole and flipped the fan to make it work instead of making it slightly uglier

I had similar issue with fans when I built my rig with this case. But I found that using right angled connectors to go through the cutouts works best. Overall this case looks amazing, really happy with it. 😊👍

13:08 I should say that this is more of a corsair issue than a havn hs420 issue. These cables are way too thick and while that can be nice sometimes for cable management, it just means you can't pass them through as many tight corners as you should've been able to.

Ryzen 7 9800x3d CPU Asus ROG Strix 3090 OC (will be a 5090) Aorus X870E Elite Wifi 7 Mobo 32gb Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6400 RAM NZXT C1500 PSU ( 2 x 12v high power connectors for the 5090 which will require 600 watts) HAVN 420 VGPU Case 2tb WD Black SN 850X NVMe 2tb WD Black SN 770 NVMe Phanteks 420mm Glacier One AIO Phanteks D30 140mm fans (exhaust on top, reverse blade intake on bottom) 12inch 2560x1440 display inside the case.

I swear icue link cables can be such a pain, the time you would spend managing normal fan cables is spent figuring out how to route the link cable because its blocked in 90% of all positions.

So apparently Corsair's solution to their previous infamous rat's nest of fan cables that builders had to contend with is to come out with daisy-chainable fans that use cables so thick that most people can't feed them through the cutouts in their chassis... 🤦‍♂

@@Dagger_323 Okay lol, that's great for you but that is sort of the intended use case, also, corsair has cases that fit over 20 fans so being able to control all of that with 1 single connector is neat, also yk, it's a product that's made to work with the own brand, and this case is probably an exception because of its weird style

@theholypeanut473 I don't care if it's the intended use case. I think most people would find it unnecessary in the vast majority of scenarios. I have a Phanteks NV9 and even I would struggle managing these cables in my case. In most cases I can think of daisy chaining that many fans together is actually less aesthetically pleasing because the cables would have to run between each group of fans rather than be tucked neatly back behind the case and plugged into a hub or a motherboard header. And cables that thick stand out like a sore thumb in addition to being hard to manage. Aside from that, I don't want all my fans running at the same speed, so being able to control each group separately is very important. So while controlling tons of fans off of one connector is a cool concept, I can't see any real application where I would find it useful.

On the back of the case, couldn't you pass the header that connects to the fan through the intended slot instead of the wider side? The angled header looks like it would fit. Edit: Nvm you did it later in the video XD
