I've bought this phone and it's excellent after I downloaded the new software updates. The fact that its 2.5D glass front and back gives it a very smooth high quality finish and theirs something about the name NOKIA that makes it special.

This is my second smartphone, which I bought to replace my first, which I had for only just under a year and I must say it is a great phone. I am pleased now that my first phone wasn't much cop as I would not now have this one. The only gripe I have with it is the Google Assistant button could have done with being in a slightly different place as sometimes I accidently press it when unlocking the phone. I don't think this is a low budget phone. It does everything that a smartphone should do and has a good memory storage capacity. I wouldn't want to pay hundreds of pounds for a phone anyway when they all do pretty much the same thing. Anyway a nice video.

@@est495 It still seemed to be running okay but people have been saying that my voice sounds muffled when I'm on the phone to them. It seems to only happen when I'm at certain locations. I'm having a few problems now since it upgraded to Android 10.

I have it and I love it. I wanted a cellphone, not a damn NASA computer, so for an "average" user, it works wonders, no lag, no sudden crashes, so comfortable in your hands, and cheap.

Just got this phone today. It is wonderful. For simple use like WhatsApp, KZbin and phone calls it is marvelous. Compact size and lightweight. Will get android 11. My old Huawei p9 gave up on me yesterday and this is a nice replacement for 80€. 3gb rams is enough for my use. Camera is a little dinky, but I am a photographer so anyhow I have better camera always with me.

I don't know why Snapdragon when they upgraded from the 435 to the 439 downgraded the lte speed from 300 Mbps to 150 and only 50 Mbps upload speed. Maybe they are crazy. They call that an upgrade? Maybe they were worried people would get to much from a midrange phone.

Yeah, it's not that Nokia I knew and loved. I remember good old days of Symbian OS. Lumia series was good too, but it was the beginning of the downfall. At least, Nokia is not finished.

@@jakedrake3660 Welp ok. Sure, it's my opinion that the phone is garbage, but it's a fact that it's not good. Here are the problems with the phone. Mic stops working everytime, the only way to fix it is to restart the phone. It's slow, freezes, and crashes quite alot of times. Screen goes black multiple times whenever I'm in a Teams call or Discord call. My family members have experienced problems with their Nokia phones too. My mum's touchscreen stops working whenever she wants to answer a call (her Nokia is meant to be the newer version as well, and it's still bad). My sister doesn't receive any calls or missed calls whenever someone calls her. Trust me, from experience with this phone, you're better off getting a Samsung or an iPhone. My mum's old Samsung phone works pretty better than her Nokia phone. If you still like Nokia then that's ok.

When I updated to Android 10 from 9, the update borked the rear (main) camera. The rear camera's been useless for over a year... Wouldn't have bought the Nokia 4.2 had I known OS update would break the camera. It's not just for photos, but for QR scanning...so QR scanning is not available. Good luck reading a QR scanned paperless restaurant menu during the pandemic... HMD will not address, or acknowledge the issue via their "My Device" chat app, which is made for Nokia phones. I tried to get them to acknowledge the hardware/OS mismatch to get a replacement. They want you to ship the phone. Unfortunately, I don't have a back-up while they repair it. Just a huge disappointment.

Nokia is clearly digging it’s own grave again. They fucked up earlier this year by releasing the Nokia 9 with an old 845 SoC and now they started releasing phones with dedicated Google buttons. The 6.2 and 7.2 just came out in 2019 with 2018 specced SoCs. Nokia is failing again just like it did with Symbian and Windows Phone. I will not mention the many problems with microphones and charging ports...

Slow, always updating which is a massive put off. All it does is take about 5-10 minutes to start in the morning, then it has something it wishes to download, even though I have obviously in vain tried to stop it from downloading anything without my autorisation. 4/10 for this phone, it is slow, it aggravates me that it constantly updates. This is more human crap basically.
