Realme 10 Pro Plus | Unboxing & Review

Unboxing the Realme 10 Pro Plus with a one week review of this stunning mid-range smartphone. I've been testing the Realme 10 Pro Plus camera tech, gaming performance, battery life and other bits and here's why it's one of the better (if not quite best) phones for a budget of £400. UK release date hopefully to be confirmed soon!
That design is one of the first factors to catch your attention. The Realme 10 Pro Plus is one of the best looking mobiles for a mid-range cost, although the curved screen does cause some usability issues. That AMOLED tech is stunning and the stereo speaker setup is impressive too.
Gamers will enjoy the Mediatek Dimensity 1080 performance, which means Genshin Impact and other top Android titles play well. Battery life is also among the best at this budget, so the Realme 10 Pro Plus can keep going all day no worries.
With Android 13 on board already, there's not much to complain about. Sadly the camera tech isn't as flexible as some rivals like the Pixel 6a. However, I enjoyed reviewing the Realme 10 Pro Plus, which overall offers good value for money.

Another great phone that UK buyers will have to wait for. I have jumped off the "must have the latest phone" trend and wait until they have a chunk off their price, it's amazing how many do this only a few months after released. The new models from Nokia are now on sale for more sensible prices. Have a great New Year Chris.

It's probably because they keep producing new phone with better spec with a same or even less expensive price than the last generation. That's why they tend to discounted their phone just a few month after release so they could sold more of it before people buy the newer one on much cheaper price. I mean I'm also waiting for GT Neo 4T even though the 3T version is enough and having a 10% discount sale in my country right now just for the sake of better spec.

I'm curious what their ultra premium flagship is going to look like this year. Their GT 2 last year looked really sweet with that matte green back. Hoping to see them stick with that design but perhaps with some different color options.

It's good unlike some other cheap amoled screen phones it doesn't flickr when you increase or decrease brightness which may strain your eyes.

@TwinTurbo Ray ok, we have Motorola too, but still at that they are expensive. Our carriers just suck. We have some of the most expensive rates in the world and the selection of phones is horrible. Like 25GB unlimited is $85/month, and then the only phones available on the carriers are Samsung and Apple. Ebay is a lifesaver as we can get US phones like OnePlus. I just recommend Google to everyone

Just seeing this looks good but the game changer with any mobile for me is expandable memory if it ain't got any give this a miss it's why I got the Samsung A53 I can just about live without an earphone jack as I'd just get a USB C attachment with earphone connector.

I've had the notifications issue (ie not receiving notifications when moving away from wifi to data and vice-versa) in my Xiaomi 9T phone for *3 YEARS* and has never been fixed. I've done all the tinkering in the settings that I could to not put the apps to sleep and it still fails to notify at times. I have no faith that realme would fix this either. This is a deal breaker for me. Missing important notifications is not an acceptable bug to have. It's one of the very essential functions of a phone. Do better Realme/Xiaomi.
