Love your videos! I do have a question. I finally got my av receiver to work with my LG TV. The problem is that I can’t get the remote to work the set top box or receiver. The cable company cable is going to the set top box and an HDMI cable from there to the HDMI sat/cab port to the receiver. I only have an HDMI cable going from the TV HDMI 2 (arc) to the arc port on the receiver. Everything works but cannot control volume or channels. What am I doing wrong?

@@TechSteve Thanks but unfortunately it’s still a mess. I couldn’t get it to work correctly. My cable remote turns off/on the tv (and receiver simultaneously) and change channels but only can adjust volume from receiver remote. There are so many variables between my Sony receiver and LG it made my head spin. As a result with the sound I ended up with an optical cable to get sound when going from cable broadcast to apps like Netflix.

Hi steve. I got my tv and for some reason the HDMI ports indicate the devices but when i select any, it says no signal. I have tried for 2days now and i am thinking of taking the tv back to the store.

Hey, I just bought the lgUN7350, I think it should be a variant of this model. I noticed that its very slow in normal tasks, Opening the menu takes almost 5 secs if something is playing on the tv. The settings page takes alot of time to load too, is that an issue? Also Im facing slow wifi issues, I need to connect and reconnect in order for it to work properly.

To get the prices down, in my opinion the budget models processor isn’t as fast as more expensive models. Far as your WiFi try to reboot and use the company website to see if there’s a firmware update. I’m not experiencing these issues but I wish you luck

Did you have it connected to another TV before? Sometimes you have to make sure the video is in auto mode, plus make sure you have a high speed cable like a HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.3

I use my 4k Apple TV turn the tv on and control the volume. You can try going into the menu, general, HDMI settings and making sure simplink is turn on. That controls the hand shake with external devices

Just plug in a HDMI cable to the TV from your box and the auto detection should do the rest. If you don’t have hdmi, I would look into upgrading your service or it will be blurry

Ive got a LG 70 inch UM 7300..once you go into it to calibrate your settings.its great...black levels...colors are on par with 4k TVs costing 2 to 3 times more..trust me if you take time and calibrate it right..get it...if you need my settings will gladly post them

How to activate LG Channels. On the remote control, press HOME, navigate to SETTINGS, then select LG CHANNELS. If a new version is available, update to the latest version of LG channels. By default, LG Channels may not be set ON. Press the toggle switch on the LG Channels menu to activate it. Now you can start enjoying free TV channels, while the video is playing, press DOWN button to switch to another TV channel or free channel IP channel.
