They are good, I want to see more I've also bought the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom with a pop up camera hope it's good. I want to see more flip or pop up cameras. The issue is they do add more bulk and weight. But it's great having no notch or cut out.

Yeah, I tried that one and the K20 Pro and looks awesome. I don't have that much money to spend, so I have a Xiaomi Mi Max 3 because it's big, cheap and doesn't have a notch.

Android phones have, in-display fingerprint reader, fantastic AMOLED/OLED screens, beautifull designs and many more features......but why is such problem to include optical image stabilisation like in iPhones? Really, is that a big problem? My 5 y.o iPhone 6s Plus is recording better quality videos than one of those newer Android phones!

Nice review as per usual but tbh i'm not entirely sure where vivo currently sit in in the BBK electronics line up anymore. Used to be super high end but this appears to be cheaper than Oppo and oneplus flagships and significantly worse. Seems what with oppo, realme and oneplus they have all bases covered, almost like the vivo brand feels defunct now. Funtouch OS is also significantlly worse than both colour OS and oxygen.

See I personally prefer vivo nex 3 i swapped my note 10 plus for the nex 3 phone slapped a launched over it and in my opinion there's no comparison apart from the camera which the note obviously wins the vivo wins in every other area especially the display I wasn't impressed with the note 10s display at all kinda disappointed as had high expectations

This is odd. I have the Nex 3 4G with SD855 (International ROM in Singapore) but I don't think there should be such a big difference. 4K60 Video quality is excellent during my vacation in Nov 2019. There's EIS and coupled with a Gimbal, the quality is amazing. Picture are a bit oversaturated but not as bad as Note 9. Noise is well controlled. The F1.8 really helps things here. I've also compared the Night mode with an Iphone 10 max and Note 9. Night mode is amazingly bright and quite sharp with reasonable amount of noise. IP & N9 both couldn't capture a decent image. All using Auto/AI modes where available. And using the Pro mode allows me to bring out even better image on a tripod. Add: I'm using Microsoft Launcher so FunTouch Launcher doesn't bother me. The FunTouch gestures are pretty good. Lastly: was the HiFi mode turned on for 3.5mm? Are you using a compatible app with HiFi enabled? Without the HiFi DAC, the 3.5mm output is meh.

About camera quality the SD865 is doing nothing. Camera sensors are maximal nowadays, so it is up to the developers to code their best AI in the post processing stage. Likely, vivo devs are either stupid or lazy to do that. Samsung’s latest S/Note image and video output should be the standard. Iphone may be a different story because they dont use dragons to compute.
