Design is a personal preference. I think the watch 7 ultra looks great! Traded in my watch 5Pro. Also, I had pre-registered for the $50 discount no commitments. Out the door the watch 7 Ultra was $261. No brainer for the upgrade at this price point with all the new features and next gen processor. Hoping Samsung knocked it out of the park with the responsiveness and battery efficiency. And now that bezel. I have the Watch 6 Classic in silver for the office and social events. It's a great looking watch and I get lots of compliments. One UI6 beta (2nd round) has improved the battery life too! I can go with or without a bezel. Why? Because the bezel only rotates your quick settings and tiles horizontally. You still have to touch the screen, swiping up/down and tapping. Now, if Samsung wants to go the distance and be like Garmin (already halfway there, ...body battery, e-hem..looks very familiar), then Samsung can use the three buttons to fully navigate the watch without any touch screen interaction. This would be like the Garmin Epix with the Amoled screen. You use touch screen and/or use buttons to fully navigate the watch. Galaxy Watch 8 Ultra. Let's go! Also, that center quick button could be for rotating but then that's totally Apple isn't it. I don't care. Companies copy each other all the time. Let's get the best of the best. Again, I am okay without the bezel or rotating crown button. Looking forward to trying out the 7 Ultra!

I LOVE the rotating bezel and was very disappointed at the lack in this one . Also, the design hasn't convinced me yet! Nonetheless, I decided to order it and see if I like it in person . If I do, I'll trade in one of my galaxy watch 6 .😅

I was looking forward to upgrade my Watch 5 Pro... but I personally think this looks ugly. The regular Watch 7 looks better but has a smaller battery than what I already have. I am bummed out, I wanted to upgrade but not to this. Maybe if it had a rotating bezel I could look past the looks. The older Pro 5 has the same batter size as the 7 Ultra in a sleeker frame.

I was going to upgrade from the Watch5 Pro to the GW7 Ultra (Ugly) but the watch looks hideous. I don't like the watch design and the bands look cheap with their ugly colors. The watch looks like it came off the Walmart $10.00 watch store rack. No way would I pay $650.00 for the GW7 Ugly. I am seriously considering purchasing the OnePlus 12 phone along with the OneWatch 2. OneWatch 2 is half the price, has a luxurious look, and has 100 hr battery life. No way would I wear an orange band watch with a dress jacket at a formal outing. I would even consider a Huawei GT 3/4 series watch for less money. Samsung lost me as a customer.

Hi sal ,it's interesting to note that the rumoured price in the uk £699 turned out to be £599 ,I traded in my 6 classic , amd I added another strap at half price ,I paid £441 , Not bad really. I think tje roating bezel being a moving part would have compromised the rugged nature

Been long time Samsung watch guy. Still rocking the Watch4 but would love to have Samsung bring back the watch camera from Gear 2. It's definitely an upgrade with better battery life and new health features. But it really comes down to what you want. If you're happy with your Watch 6 Classic, I'd say stick with it. Only upgrade for the battery life if that's a big deal for you. If you're fine with the battery on your Watch 6 Classic, there's no need to change in my opinion.

I can't stress this enough, how important the new sleep apnea detection feature is, as the vast majority of people with sleep apnea are not even aware they have it. I got myself the Galaxy fit 3 smart band just to keep a track on my sleep, since I constantly feel tired, and apparently I don't enter deep sleep stage AT ALL, which suggest I may have sleep apnea. However, this watch is WAY out of my budget, but if I could afford it, I'd get it on the spot just because of that feature

I watched many videos, you can skip all the Samsung products introduced this year. This is because they just want to save the day. If we have to write specifically about the watch, the Ultra may be half the price of this, there is no tangible innovation. Android wear also has a long way to go. The application market is very inadequate and of poor quality. I say these as someone who has been using Galaxy Watch 6 Classic for a year.

Hey, if you did your research, you'd know that the Watch Ultra has a rated battery of 578mAh, while the Watch 5 Pro has 573mAh. I'm sure you get the difference between rated and typical capacity.

The battery capacity on the 7 ultra is the same as the 5 pro, which is 590 mAh. The 7 ultra should have had a higher capacity battery since it costs more.

Rotating bezel not a go with a rugged watch thats in many different environments like salt water, sand, dirt ect. Don't want grim and grit getting under rotating bezel causing damage rotating. Galaxy Ultra looks so tough and rugged.
