Hello Suji, Abhi, Swetha I felt very happy to see you passing through Farakka barrage. As you explained in the video, it's manned by CISF and I was there for approximately 4 years that was till 2000. Similarly we provide security to NTPC Farakka also where my husband was posted. Most of the Bengalis are loving and caring. Sure there are exceptions too. But the less fortunate people are well exploited by the rich. I had seen small girls were put to hard domestic works without any payment only by giving some food. That too not normal meals , they say it " Mudi" which is our പൊരി . The Shop keepers try to cheat the outsiders by giving locally made less quality juices when we ask for Mazza like juice and exploit the same rate.. sometimes they will try to exploit that you gave 100 rupees only when we had already given him 500 Rs. These are the bitter experience. But we'll get good and fresh vegetables and fruits especially the taste of mangoes and lichis still remains
