I recently got a bike with the exact same display and controls but when I got into the settings I can't change anything, only the the brightness and the speed limit, I cannot change any other settings even if they appear there. Is there a way to do it or maybe it's the bike?

u have to write into setting mode .turn on screen and with in 5 seconds press up and down buttons at same time 1st Will be light bright 1 ,2,and 3 then hit M button and that will be P02 setting then use up down to adjust. extra but it doesn't give you much time to do your setting and will time out like in 4 or 5 seconds and go back to home screen. if it does do over hit M button as men by times to get you back e.g. Po6 and continue to I believe p14 .hopefully it helps you

The controller could be locked, they display only sends the commands to the controller.

I am wondering if there is a way to unlock the settings menu so that I can change all Px settings? When I am in settings menu it only lets me toggle between P01 and P02, all others appear to be locked.

Some displays are locked with a password.

It is not possible, but you can see the exact battery voltage which is more accurate.

No, you just have to program each of them to the correct values.

Gear 3 is for using the accelerator, probably it's switched to hybrid mode.

@@mauriziotavarnelli9811 Not entirely. I switched to the 5-gear mode and now the first gear goes at 15km/h, second gear to 20km/h and third gear to 25km/h, fourth and fifth gear dont' work. I don't understand what caused this but at least the bike works

You can only set motor acceleration strength and assist delay but that works the same for all modes.

You need a torque sensor for power assistance. Not a cadance . There are some good cheap ebikes out there with them. Some of the eleglide range have them .

A (M) sign? That is motor error, check the cables first. If it's a (!) then it's usually a brake issues.

I'm just passionate about these things, this is not documented by ADO as they don't want everyone to change the settings wrongly as they had a lot of issues with customers that changed things in that menu and then claimed that their bike were faulty. So they properly test and configure then before shipping them so regular users don't have to.

No, and it's not supported by the motor as it has a way way clutch system so it doesn't put any drag when you are not using it thus has no braking either. This makes the bike very efficient and able to run like a normal non electric bike.

Hi, great video on the settings, wondering if you have upgraded this controller, this is what I'd like to do, despite the UART Color being the same, I have no power. Computer = S830 UART Compatible Computer Upgrade = Bafang 860c UART Color display

No I haven't upgraded it. Sadly these controllers and displays are not very well documented so can't find a lot of resources about them.

Sadly on this controller it's not possible to get assisted mode working faster than 25km/h.

I changed the wheel size and it works with 5 mode PAS. The display says 25 km/h but my gps tell me 36 km/h with 17 inch size entered in parameters

@@hermanaditya2250 enter the parameters as video show it. Do the modification to get 5 PAS. Then go to p06 and change wheel size from 27.5 to 17 and that's all. But adding the accelerator is the best solution

Hi , I received my bike and setting one was around 15kmh , setting two took it right up to 28kph, setting 3 didn’t do anything. I guess this was because second took it to its max. So I tried the above and immediately the battery started counting down from 100% , within 10 seconds the battery was showing o%. Totally flat. What have I done ?

Do you have the throttle installed? Check the settings for battery, should be 36V, your might be set on 48V. Also fully charge the battery first time before use.
