I have the Ray-Ban stories in gloss black with transition lenses and I’m really enjoying them, I’ve got tonnes of little videos of my 1 year old son which I’d of missed fumbling around to get my phone camera out & the majority of the time as soon as he sees my phone he will stop doing what I wanted to record. Looking forward to a 2nd generation with better cameras

Just purchased the "Ray Band Round Stories", this weekend, and they have updated the video time to one minute sessions. These are a great multi-purpose utilitarian device. Thanks for sharing this review, it aided in my purchase choice. WHOOP WHOOP

I have the Bose Tempo and people always comment when im riding my bike and talking via the glasses that my voice sounds just as good if not better than talking directly through my phone..They are always amazed when i say im riding my bike as there isn't any wind noise..😊😊

I tried the Stories and wanted to like them, because they’re Ray-Bans. I already wear regular Wayfarers, and use AirPods (Pro) all the time. So it would be a perfect fit for me. But the quality of the speakers and cameras was just too low. I couldn’t justify it. The speakers and mic are good for phone calls or listening to voice recordings (podcasts, audiobooks), when you’re in a very quiet environment. But in an environment with any noise (like the grocery store where I tried them), they get drowned out easily at max volume. I don’t think they would be very good for outdoor exercise or just walking around in a city. And they are no good for music at all. The cameras are terrible. I can’t believe you can have two stereo cameras, and all you can get are really terrible square photos, or one minute max videos (option in the app) that look like they were recorded with a camera phone from the early 2000s. Totally unusable unless you just want a quick record of something for reference. And useless in low light, although why would you be wearing sunglasses in low light? Which is the last issue, unless you get clear/prescription lenses - they’re something you’ll only use during the day. In the end, sticking with a phone, earbuds and regular sunglasses ends up being the best option. And if you want a POV camera, get a GoPro. Also, because of everything inside them, the arms are not like regular Ray-Bans. They’re hollow and made of two pieces, and they weren’t as comfortable. They have a seam which scratched my head when I put them on. In the end, I had to return them.

I agree, the RB stories aren’t worth it at all. There’s too much audio loss from the speakers. If you cup your ears, the speakers are great, but forget trying to use them in your car with any road noise. Their mics are okay for the receiver on phone calls. But the controls on the side-arms don’t work consistently. I really wanted to like them, but had to return.

I'm on my second gen of Bose Frames, but typically just use them for sunblocking while wearing Bose over-the-ear headphones. The issue then is that the frames push away the headphones so that they're not flush against my ears. Hence I've gotten the Ray-Bans because they fit well with the headphones and have a version with UV rays blocker for a little more. They haven't arrived and I plan to return them after this video as you are paying for the tech and the tech quality is wack. I'll use my InstaGo cam and stick with Bose.

I have 3 of them. Bose alto, echo frames, and rayban meta. They’re all great in their own ways. If anyone wants to know anything, just tag me and ask. My favorite is the rayban. Bose has best audio quality though. Echo is my 2nd favorite.

I made a prototype from some Chinese glasses with a camera and I have managed to control them without touching them or saying a single word. What's more, you can look at me with them on and I'll give you $100 if you guess when l'm taking photos or videos of you. I am doing some things to get a superior prototype and launch them on the market through crowdfunding, but I am going slowly since I have never launched any other product. The control system using cephalic-facial gestures can be incorporated into any glasses, including Ray-Ban | Goal. The sensors that I incorporate are 3 and they do not consume any additional energy to function, in addition, I also made a system for them to charge them while you use them without it being noticed and it has turned out as I expected. The glasses still look identical, you don't notice anything additional when you wear them.
