@drip6z It’s 3 minutes per clip. So if you record a clip, the recording will stop after 3 minutes unless you stop it first. When the recording stops, you can record another clip straight away for up to 3 minutes. Rinse and repeat.

I hope they introduce a feature where the glasses can continuously record for a set number of seconds. Microsoft implemented a similar function in their Xbox, where you could say "Record that," and it would save the last few seconds of gameplay. This feature was great for capturing unexpected and memorable moments. It really helped players preserve some fantastic experiences.

Regarding size: while Ray-Ban only offer the Meta Wayfarers in medium and large the Meta Headliners are available in a "Low Bridge Fit". The description on their website states: "A good choice if eyewear tends to slide down your nose, sit too low, or press on your temples or cheeks."

I purchased these and I love them. They do everything and beyond what my expectations were but the one shortcoming is I wore these to a tennis tournament in Indian Wells California during March and they would not work because of the heat. I got an error message saying the glasses were too hot. I contacted Meta and Rayband And they both confirmed that the sunglasses were not work, if it is too hot that's an oxymoron isn't it? Sunglasses not working in the heat but at the end I really enjoy wearing them to the point. I was wearing them today.

I have had them for months now. I love them. I have them for POV shots in collab with me x4 and OP3. The reframe 16:9 is usable in some situation. 1min recoding limit was ideal but the updated 3min is very much welcomed.

About the glasses falling off: funnily enough, I literally just helped my mum with the exact situation with a pair of glasses, and that's getting silicone grips that slide onto the arm of the glasses and hold them up behind your ear. They're very cheap on the bay of Es, and my mum was rather chuffed, haha.

I know how you feel. Personally, I don't use any of the 'smart' features. I merely use them for BT music/podcasts while out, as sunglasses, and quick photos & videos. I never gave it access to my contacts, or anything. Just BT.

Battery lasts all day for me and I love the convenience of having a earbud experience without letting everyone around me hearing my music. If rayban ups the Battery I may check them out next generation.

I think people are expecting some revolutionary thing out of these glasses. I love mine. Only thing I agree with is the camera placement could’ve been better, but these things are good money to me. I’ve been having a blast with them. Also I just ordered my prescription lenses so I can use them daily.

Hey! I just got my pair today, super excited and your review was amazing!!! If you have an eye doctor, they may be able to help you with the issue where the glasses slip by rounding down the part behind your ears. Mine did it and it helped the fit so much! (I bought my Meta Glasses directly from the eye doctor so the adjustment was free, but they might charge you for yours. They did it in the office just like for regular glasses though!)

Tamara, I am very grateful that you have done this review of the glasses, from a true content creator's point of view. I have been hlding out to get a pair of these, mainly to use when i'm djing, to capture footage, from my own POV, to add with my OP3 footage. I love the idea of smart glasses but I find the side camera frustrating. Why not place it on the nose bridge? That makes total sense, surely? I can only assume that there is a technical reason not to. I just know that this detail would irritate me too much, plus not having access to the full features means I won't be purchasing yet. But I love the idea and I look forward to the future of smart glasses!

I’m not sure if mine is set up differently, but I think I have the default settings. I just tap the side of the glasses once to have it listen, and then start asking it questions. There’s no need to say Hey Meta, or use a separate listening device.

I love mine. I am in the USA and I have to say the full AI experience is quite good. I am getting them fitted with prescription transition lenses. The camera is more of an eye for me for the AI, but if I had one feature request it would be horizontal video. The audio is good also. Once they are no longer sunglasses I will use the for meeting calls and such. Hopefully at the Meta event in September they will introduce some new features.

I didn’t even know they were a thing 😮 I’ll try that. With the battery, it’s hard to say because I tend to put them back in the case when I’m not using them as I just use them for short periods of time, then I put them on charge when I get home. However, I think I had them on at one point for an hour and they still had juice.

Good review and I'd agree with most of what you said. I put foam pads on the bridge and these help to stop them sliding down. I just haven't found any pads that will last longer than a few days yet. I'm in the uk and they did enable the "look and... " to mine with the recent update with the 3 minute clips.

I like the ability to always have a camera to hand without messing around with a phone. I also wish we had AI, but hopefully we will get it. Just a small comment. You can record up to 3 minuts now. Great sunglasses, i just got the wayfarer model. I found a way to get the new AI working outside US 😉 No you do not have et travel to the states (that is an option) if you start over in the app and connect to a vpn after you have connected the glasses, the AI works. That's it 😁 now you just say "hey Meta, look and tell me what you see" That is so cool and usefull
