Well the OnePlus 7 pro does it with a bigger display but not only that. The OnePlus is Quad HD also and only a 4000 mAh battery. Granted it doesn't do as good but close. The 6000 mAh battery even if you cut the display to 60hz it's not going to make a dramatic difference. You might see 20 possibly 30 minutes max gain from that. I believe they have some software tuning to do. Not only that but the chip being overclocked is drawing some extra power yet not providing much extra in the performance department.

But either way as always I love the selection you do and a lot of the ways you do it. I would just recommend matching the brightness levels. And 2nd part you have to record the same video level on all as 4k draws a lot more processing power! The test is some what imbalanced now.

@@xboys10p not really! The 855 is much more powerful and #2 is the list I'm putting out below. @Shin Azura AMOLED only decreases in dark settings. When you have bright content especially white background the AMOLED will use just as much power. Again they get there power savings using black colors as they cut off during blacks. That's how they mostly save power. That is also why you see Android Q coming out with the dark scheme because again black color on a AMOLED is no color at all. It's just turned off and that's how AMOLED's have the darkest blacks lol! In normal consumption the AMOLED does save power but in this setting you see that there was a lot of bright colored backgrounds. The thing that killed the K20PRO though was the 4k recording. Again, 4k recording takes a good bit more power then the heaviest game could possibly give them. That is also why you heard him say the phones hot extremely hot. I do not know what is wrong with your Mi 9 and I made this statement several times. When it comes to your pictures, they seem a little off. When it comes to your speed test and performance test they do not seem off they are without a doubt off in a bad way. I am getting 438,781 on AnTuTu and averaging around 433,000 doing it 3 back to back not 5. I know that was not what you are testing but there is clearly a software issue with yours if it's performance is down on everything compared to everybody else's. What software update are you running and what version. That's something else I was told that the Global EU version did better then the rest but still, something is off on yours that you may want to get it checked out. And your battery test your Mi 9 is off by min 1hr to anybody else's so there is definitely something not quite right with that Mi 9 and the Antutu confirms as well.

This is not a valid battery test, antutu is for benchmarking the Soc and max heat and power consumption testing. A Synthetic test like antutu will draw the most power from the given hardware, so the more powerful soc will drain more because it gives you more performance. In day to day use there is no app that will use 100% of the soc, so to include a benchmarking tool in a battery test is not representing anything. You should use common apps in battery test videos and synthetic apps in benchmarking videos and not mix both. Keep doing the great comparisons but make the testing accurate

You do understand that #1 like I stated once to be on a level playing field you have to check brightness. But the real key here is that you recorded 4k on the K20 pro so of course it lost to the Honor's that ran 1080p recording. That's a major difference. That is double at least of the processing power it takes to do 4k over 1080. So truthfully I do not think the Honor's would have won. On the LCD part there are two equations here. #1 you are using a lot of apps that are using a lot of whites and brights which the AMOLED's will use just as much power on that. They get there power saving by not having to power the blacks in the footage. #2 back to the recording which put more strain on these phones then anything else especially 4k!!! So they would have clearly died 1st.

Exactly,also SD855 consumes A LOT more power than these Kirins,leading to K20 Pro barely losing to these Honor's.

great video! thank! If, given my negative attitude to xiaomi, now I will know that the Honor 9х Pro holds the battery perfectly ... Now it remains to look at a detailed comparison in the recording of videos and photos, and the opinion will finally form ...

if you get the redmi note 8 pro please compare the performance to honor 9x in gaming like pubg which is better fps in hdr extreme in a long run, and battery drain test, temperature, also charging !!! that will be a big help for me in deciding what to buy for camera, didn't really care as long as its good. or decent and can shoot 1080p 60fps in video

Lmao,this Honor fanboy saying something about performance mode on the Honor's,and not realising: 1.Redmi K20 that recorded 4K(drains battery like hell)and a brighter screen still beat them all except the ROG...2.K20 Pro with a much overpowered chip,and brighter screen AND 4K video recording was only 3-8% behind Honor phones lol.Redmi always wins.
@xboys10p5 жыл бұрын
k20 pro used amoled, it reduced more battery consumption than honor with lcd ips. so you must appreciate this honor with kirin 810 did well.

@Harsh Chaudhary Why are you feeling called out lmfao?Cuz you praise Honor in every comment section lol?What a fucking dumbass i swear.And also,saying "Redmi always wins" isn't fanboying,but a fact.Redmi always had better vfm than Honor,whether your uneducated ass agrees with it or not. P.S. You literally know nothing about phones.You think flagship chips would heat up so much when recording 4K and not consume a lot of power?Damn you are dumb.

@@xboys10p Yeah,did you not read my comment?4K recording,a higher powered chip,brighter screen?As the Honor fanboy said,AMOLED consumes less power only in dark scenes as that's when pixels turn off.That only won't really help that much.

so even a 2000 mah diff only have little time gap over the others even if it is using 120hz and a slightly powerful 855+
@RemixerUltimate5 жыл бұрын
Yeah. That 120hz probably runs through battery life.

With 2,000 mah of battery more the ROG 2 couldnt stand for at least 2 hours or more? That's absurd. The battery is really a 6,000 mah? Because my s10 plus is 4100 and it last aprox 7 hours... could it be 120 hz of the screen refeesh rate that consume the battery more faster?

I got almost 12 hours sot with mixed usage(LTE,gps, wifi, bluetooth are all switched on) on my rog phone 2 on 60hz display.
@gregwilliams43805 жыл бұрын
I can get 12hrs SOT with my Mi 9 and that includes test, 4k recording, pictures and plenty of KZbin as well as movies. On average I get 17hrs combined with 9hrs being SOT before I still it on charge for the night. I have WiFi/LTE on 24/7 with auto brightness selected but I always force the brightness up. One thing I noticed is that his Mi 9 is not running up to par with any other Mi 9 I have seen tested on benchmarks are off by 30,000+ right out the gate! Matter fact I have only seen a Mi 9 loose in AnTuTu once and I think it was his before as well. The camera quality I see with his Mi 9 is off, battery life and benchmark performance are all 3 off which really make me think there is something wrong without much question.
@rastaman9715 жыл бұрын
@@gregwilliams4380 3300 mAH and 12 hours of SOT with heavy use? My friend, your phone is magic. Even the Mi Max 3 with a bigger battery and a more efficient processor doesn't put this kind of score. The ROG phone had the best speakers of the business, and headphone Jack etc.
@gregwilliams43805 жыл бұрын
@@rastaman971 where would you like me to send a copy of the screen shot of my battery charts from Accubattery and the stock one as well. WTF does the ROG 2 have to do with my Mi 9 and WTF does it's headphone jack have to do with anything?? You lost me there dude. I am not saying anywhere in this statement that the Mi 9 can out last the ROG 2 so STFU!! In real world usage all these phones will do that minimum in most every case unless your straight gaming it with a heavy load game or if your running a lot of 4k video! I will gladly show you stacks of screenshot's of my Mi 9 with combined times of 16-18hr average with 9+ being SOT! Last, are you kidding everybody here with the Mi Max 3 has a more efficient processor?? 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 How old are you, 12? And for your info sense your all jacked up on the ROG 2, the Mi 9 has headphone jack to by way of adapter, not that many use them anymore because you can not hook a quality pair of headphones up to any phone unless it's a LG V series as they have a really nice Quad Dac/amp system that will push nice headphones. The Mi 9 has LDAC which is like Hi Res Audio for Bluetooth with high bit transfer rates much better then CD quality! If your trying to compare the ROG 2 to a Mi 9, don't! The Mi 9 is leagues above it and almost every aspect except stereo speakers and battery. But let's see what happens when the Xiaomi Mi 9S comes out next month with it's 4000+ mAh battery, 855+ chip possibly new camera sensors which there already awesome, and I believe there switching to a Quad HD display but that part really makes no difference to me. Xiaomi has the most efficient system for battery life and performance out it seems right now. Send me a link where you want those battery charts. I back up what I say!
