Just seen you over on Mine Explorers. I had wanted to visit those mines but heard that access was being blocked so I respected that. Great to hear you are restoring this area!!

Access has never been blocked except to one specific trespassing, thieving KZbinr from Canada. Everyone else is welcome, but all guests are guided now to protect the mines and guests alike.

I grew up in Eldorado county, Ca. Every mountain had a hole in it where some poor guy was chasing that yellow metal. I’ve seen all kinds of workings but I’ve never seen operations like the ones they have in Nevada. It seems that dry climate really preserves that wood

The mine definitely “talks” as rocks and timbers shift and settle ever so slightly. And that’s a good thing. If it ever stops I’m outta there.

Does any of the High Grade ore flouresce under UV light? If so, you can pick up a UV flashlight for pretty cheap... It certainly has nice color!
