Leuke video's Ben mij aan het verdiepen in 3D printen, mijn vraag is Kan ik zelf ontwerpen maken in CURA ?
@CrazyWillTechShow Жыл бұрын

Tried to do a silver surfer figurine about 5 in tall on my creality V3 plus with a silk filament and it just spaghettified. What print speed do you normally print silk filaments at if you don't mind me asking?

I used the default PLA settings it sounds like you may need to level your bed.

@@CrazyWillTechShow maybe, it's weird I only have had the problem with the 2 silver surfer figurines. They will start to print fine but say a third away through a support will break loose and that's a wrap. If I'm watching the print great I can stop it but this one went overnight so spaghettification was the result. I will have to look into manual bed leveling for this thing. I have been spoiled with the automatic leveling. Oh and thanks for the reply.

@@CrazyWillTechShow oh just another little bit of information I seem to be able to print anything flat fine like wall art, but usually when I'm doing those it's with a standard PLA or a high speed The figurines were being done with a silver silk. Also out of curiosity at what speed would you print figurines with a silk filament at I do believe I was at 100 mm at the time. That may be too fast. I wasn't sure what the default speed was

I usually low or raise temperature before speed. Play with some small test prints.

@@paintmasteryates77 I would try puting a brim around your print to give you supports more stability.

I got a 1kg print im going to do soon. So i wanna make sure im getting the best results without waste of money or pla. I want my print to be smooth as possible so I was thinking of printing in .12 layer hight. Have you tried higher quality slicing? Does the color change work as well or should I stick with standard hight .2? Any help with this would be great thanks :)

It prints good a little tougher than other stuff I’ve used. As far as the layer height I did a short where I show the difference. Don’t feel it’s really worth it go with .2. But that’s just my opinion.

@@CrazyWillTechShow thanks a bunch. Im pretty sure that's the rout I'm gonna go. its a 7 day print with .12 vs a 4 day print at .2 so i feel safer with the .2 any ways. I was leaning for the .2 but i wanted a 2nd opinion.
