Hola... Con una antena de aro, bucle o "Loop Antenna",. Son antenas muy sencillas de construir, y que al ser "direccionales" y utilizar sólo la parte magnética de la señal,. son muy silenciosas y especialmente indicadas para entornos ruidosos (=ciudades, con multitud de motores, corrientes alternas, LCD's, ordenadores,...). Pero si esta misma antena "te la llevas" al exterior,.. entonces todavía mejor... Saludos,. Pedro

Si, la recepción es limpia y clara, y los mandos están bien ajustados y son firmes,.. no bambolean ;-) ¡Saludos!

SSB is definitely better than the Tecsun PL-880, The 880 suffers from excessive ALC blasts and makes for a Ragged sound. The 8800 sounds clean thanks to a Triple Conversion receiver but I do wish it had a true RF Gain Control. Sounds the best of the Tecsuns.

The S-8800 distortion and AGC pumping issue along with the 4 Khz filter not working on SSB mean this radio is very over priced and it’s enough to make me sell both this it’s just irritating if you listen to SSB. You can’t really observe this from this video because signals are weak but I guarantee it’s a serious issue that shouldn’t exist especially at the price.

It's the best of what's out there at that price range, I don't use ssb just the SW bands, it's the only reason I bought it. Awful On FM, MW

@@marccarter1350 The S-8800 can use LW/MW via external antenna and it makes a huge difference but I would say the H501x is better, sounds better too. Even on SSb they improved the filters but there's still some distortion which is still unacceptable given the high price. SSB is fantastic to use on commercial shortwave stations called "ECSS" using USB/LSB you can really weed out weak signals and it's great to reduce or eliminate interference, really, the benefits of ECSS for SWL can't be emphasised enough. ECSS is also great against fading signals, the difference is night and day, I use it on the PL-680 all the time. It just can't work on the S-8800, PL-880 or 990x, it's better on the 330 and H501x but still nowhere near as good sounding as the PL-680. The S-8800 is too expensive to have these issues on SSB in my opinion.

@@o00scorpion00o LW is dead really in the UK. I need to get a decent extranal antenna,. I use my CR Crane on MW, nothing beats it. Yeah i have seen the H501. People have been saying how good it is.
