I know they built up the Robin and Barney in the last seasons. But if I remember correctly, Robin questioned their future together every step of the way, it was always this question after that. Deep down even she knew that Barney was not a good husband material. I know that many argue that Ted and Tracy were meant to be together and that they killed her off for this. But, let me ask you, why would Ted tell the entire series to his children, if Tracy was still alive. I knew from the first moment that something happened to the mother and that's why he was telling his children how they met. So Ted found his soulmate and lost her, Robin tried a life with Barney and lost it, and destiny brought them together once again, a perfect couple... Just my opinion...

I’m here to say that I LOVE THE ENDING. When Marshall said ‘not yet’, I had hope again that Ted and Robin will end up together. I hated that they gave the whole season for Robin and Barney cuz i was really convinced and it made me confused. However, I’m glad that Ted&Robin finally ended up together.

The whole season given to Barney and Robin makes sense. The story of HIMYM was Ted's love for Robin being told to his kids, the wedding was the last time Ted spent considerable time with Robin before she became aunt Robin, and left to become a successful News Anchor. So Ted tells his kids in detail the last moments he spent with her before he met Tracy or before the kids knew Robin. That's why the time jumps in the final episodes make sense because Robin is not in their lives as much, so there is not so much to tell the kids. Also every time jump Robin is present or they are talking about her.

Ted and Robin are just perfect together, the ending couldn't have been any more perfect ❤️ Since the very beginning we've known they had to end up together, everything was just about timing for them . Maybe Tracy was perfect for him but Robin was the love of his life and turns out Ted didn't want perfect he wanted Robin. And Robin has always been in love with Ted but she didn't chose him bc she knew she couldn't give him the family with kids he wanted so bad, she chose his happiness over hers and that's true love. It was about timing for them because ted *wanted* it to be. Every single step on the way he kept on convincing robin how love marriage and kids is the best thing and blah blah. Robin never wanted that she just wanted to be single and live a succesfull life. Ted manupilated her into marriage and all that and thats also the reason why barney and robin got married. I've watched the show multiple times and the more i watch it i realise how ted just wanted things to go his way and nothing else and he's actually worse then barney. Ted never got over robin even when he was with tracy always truly loved robin. The mother deserved better. He just married the *mother* to have kids then after she passed away he went back to being crazy about robin. I dont call this love

Well, Robin and Barney are insecure and broken people. That’s why their marriage ended and why Ted is so attractive to both of them. Ted isn’t just incredibly romantic, he’s also a guy whom people can trust and love because he’s literally an old-fashion good guy and never turn ur back on. He can cure Robin. And for Barney, Nora’s the right person. She’s a woman of integrity. If Barney chose her, there’s no doubt that he would be taken good care of by her. They could have made a cute couple~

Here are my thoughts on this whole Ted/Robin/Barney thing. Robin married Barney because he was a lot like her father and she felt deserving of him. She always loved Ted but knew she couldn’t give him the life he wanted so she rejected him. The thing is she always hoped that one day her and Ted could be together that’s why she came up with the marriage pact. In season 7 when Ted professed his love her immediate reaction was to kiss him and even walked out the door to run back in and kiss him again! When Barney didn’t show up while she searched for her locket she called Ted and ended up holding his hand in the rain after he said “maybe we already know what we want deep down” There are so many other clues sprinkled in throughout the show but those stand out right now. I’m glad in the end they got back together. True love never dies 💙

when I first finished the series I kinda understood the point they were trying to make with the ending but still bad the impression that the image was bad for both Ted and Robin, he looked like he were never in love with Tracy and she looked like she settled down at the end for the nice guy. But the more I see this type of videos and think about it, the more I understand that we live the present differently from the past and from the future. Maybe by the time Ted met Tracy he fell in love with her and forgot about robin, but six years later, remembering both and evaluating, Robin was the one that left a bigger footstep. And that doesn't have to mean that he loved Tracy any less.
