Ughhh that tanner Hudson fumble on the 1 yard line against the pats will haunt me forever

For sure or all the other bad performances that was involved in that game for sure

Cant really look at the year that way. If the cowboys dont touch the blocked punt we lose that game. These things tend to even out...but understand your pain

Just want to say how much I enjoy listening to Lap and Ted talk football and life. Lap you are the man. Mr. Bengal in my eyes. We are going to get you in the Ring of Honor soon.

Ted is dependable and still young enough to give us at least 2 or 3 more good years. Our tackles are good (maybe Peters can make Mims great). Draft a starting guard in the second round and get a good young free agent for the other starting guard spot. I would not let Tobin or Zac have any say with that scenario. Save the first round pick for a good defensive player. Pick a position, we need help everywhere on the defense but maybe some of the younger guys will get a chance to earn starting roles under Golden. Take a running back in the 4th or 5th round (someone who could do what Samaji Perine gave us but have not replaced). The rest of the picks for defense. We wasted 2 valuable picks last year on 2 players who gave us nothing (Burton and Eric All hurt again). I would cut Burton. He's got a psychological disorder and that wont get better. He's a cancer festering until we cut him.

Since OBJ was hurt, Ted probably was the best production wise on the line this year. Really solid year for him.

Yeah football aside..Teddy Karas is just a fantastic human being as Dave noted. Him and OBJ are of the same personable caliber in that regard. Physically massive and talented guys aren't often of such a generally humane mindset..not saying big athletes are usually bad people, just that its been rare that I've seen examples that are genuinely humble and so giving. I guess a personally enjoyable inspiration when I see gentle giants. 😊 (When OFF the field that is lol..ole Ted and Orlando have plenty of nasty in the tank on Sunday 😂)

You have to consider the talent he had there he was in a bad situation.
@jeffward-0021Күн бұрын
@WarRoom124 And you'll have to consider the talent he has here, especially at the guard position and how the front office staff won't do s*** to help him. Let's not act like we have a great organization
@jeffward-0021Күн бұрын
@WarRoom124 and on top of that what if Orlando Brown is hurt next year still or still that soft tissue injuries haunting him and or limiting him. That's four lineman this dude's going to have to develop with two years of professional experience. That's just the way I think. Because if the Bengals didn't have bad luck they wouldn't have any at all. And that's just my synopsis of being a fan for 48 years. I try not to be negative, just realistic

Guards will most likely be replaced next year
@jeffward-0021Күн бұрын
@dustingoff8591 I hope so, but you still have to develop them into your offensive scheme. In most cases it don't happen overnight. Last time I checked the Bengals fans want to win the big one and they want to win it now

Does Ted have a bit of a lisp? I've never noticed it before, but he sounds a bit different here...

I think it was just his low audio quality. this was the first i have noticed it. But I could be wrong.

If we do NOTHING else at all...the solution might be in house already. Lee to center.. Karras to guard...and Ford vs Kirkland gets the other guard spot. Sure rather have Alan Faneca Dwight Stephenson and Jerry Kramer but with our team thats probably unrealistic
@getbrainseeds23 сағат бұрын
frank couldnt fix our middle..... if we want to run more, them guards need to step up or be upgraded if we kept ford at guard would be a upgrade from 2 guards we got now

Not a smart answer; Dave: This guy's not a one trick pony, is he? Karras says "Gee, I hope not! I don't THINK he is..." Right answer would be: "Yeah, I think you're right, Dave...he looks versatile." I don't mean that Karras should kiss butt, I just mean that Dave has valid Intel and you see Dave's face show surprise at Karras' rubbish answer. Anybody that's gonna show these guys how to keep Shiesty UPRIGHT, and not getting knocked down two out of every four downs is cause for cheerfulness. Maybe Karras is still a little hurt about his coaches he's comfy with getting canned. Dry your eyes big guy...YOU'RE Hopelessly Devoted (or SHOULD be) to JOE BURROW. These coaches have been phoning it in for the last couple of years and it just reached critical mass this last season.
