If you look it up, Rebecca finding her father cheating and Ted finding his father had shot himself actually occurred on the same day. What I thought was just two people telling a story mashed together was a single night that had haunted two different people at once

The overlapping stories from ted and Rebecca do happen on the same day. Rebecca says that it happened on Friday the 13 and ted continues by saying the year and that it was in September. He also said that he and his friends were going to do a Jason movie marathon bc of it being Friday the 13 and that’s why he was home when it happened. So the day that Ted’s dad died and Rebecca found out about her dad cheating was the exact same day. The scene of them telling their stories is one of the best in the series and so beautifully written.

Their emotional reaction is subtle. Calvin’s eyes and nose gets red like most people when tearing up . Eric’s whole face gets red. Aaron grimaces and I suspect that if he was alone he might actually audibly sob. They all wipe tears away after. I simply love that they allow shows to affect them so deeply

Well, Jason Sudeikis won 2 lead actor at a comedy series emmys for the first 2 seasons and there's a chance he'll win one for season 3 as well, we'll see when the next emmys happen. He, as the creator, producer and showrunner of the show also won 2 more Emmys because the first 2 seasons also won Best Comedy Series at the Emmys and, again, they might win it for a third time, we'll see. He's a 4 time emmy winner now and also had writing nominations as well so he's come a long way from SNL. (and i personally always thought he was the most underrated cast member at that era and he was my favorite so i am happily following his post-snl career)

I don’t know what the rules are in the states but in Australia it’s not illegal to have physical contact like hugs from a therapist. But you have to be extremely careful if you are a therapist. Because it can be misinterpreted. I have broken down in therapy and my therapy said “I want to comfort you. Would you like me to just be here, or do you want a hug or for me to hold your hand? What are you comfortable with right now?”

So i had only seen up to season 2 episode 8 of this show when this video popped up in my feed and i saw the title. So all during episode 9 i was CONVINCED that Beard was gonna die.
