Amazing the number of callbacks in this one scene. The winning goal was a play that Nate gave to Ted in the 3rd episode of season one and back then Jamie hated the idea of being used as a decoy. Fast forward to this scene and not only does he relish the idea but mimics the exact movements and words that Ted used when he was trying to teach Jamie how to sell the fake. The sheer joy on Nate's face when he jumps into Ted's arms yelling "that's my play" is poetic.

The shadow shows that the player was not on the line and Zorro's arm is clearly infront of the player meaning it's definitely not near the line. Although there definitely is a continuity error as Zorro is then seen closer to the line and in a different position when zoomed in so in another alternate universe I'm sure it was lol.

I love how, at the end of his pantomime, Ted throws the imaginary Oscar away.

This would make coach Lasso the greatest coach of all time.

I love this! For one, I was so excited to see Richmond win. I know it’s a fictional team and it was pretty much a given they would win I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and cheered like crazy when they won. (Hey Maple Leafs, take some pointers from Ted Lasso 😂) For another I cried when Nate jumped in Ted’s arms , beaming, “you used my play!” A beautiful moment between Nate and Ted. And Colin finally able to kiss the person he loves after a victory like he always wanted to do was the cherry on top. Just beautiful!
