Truly amazing man who was the real grandfather of adventure riding before it became fashionable. No drones, no KZbin and no sponsorship.

I follow "Itchy Boots" she shows horrific border crossings on her small motorbike. Maybe she'll write a book too. She is protected by the Love of her followers I think. She produces videos Mon. Wed. and Fri.

On ya Ted!

Reading Riding High now but wondered about the story that Ted crossed half of Australia accompanied by his american friend Carol. No mention of her but in one episode where he tells us his longering to meet her again AFTER the Journey. Seems he left out something not insignificant in "Jupiter's Travels"?

Well, yes! I confess I did. It's complicated but, at the time I just found it too difficult to bring Carol into that story. It's hard to explain now, but it was about the book. I didn't see how to write it and still keep the focus of the book where I wanted it.

Makes total sense to me. The book was about the adventure, not his personal life. You may disagree, but that's my opinion.

Nice video, but couldn't you do a bit of noise cancelling? It makes it hard to hear what Ted is saying.
