Eric gives action to the truth, humans need to create. Human must express their thoughts and interaction with the world around them, the experiences and places we pass through. His medium is only slightly different from my son cutting bowls from slabs of trees, or the sculptor seeing a leaping animal in a block of granite.

Gifs do not require craft. Some of them are the product of craft. Animations produced manually are the products of craft. Learn a little more about this history of animation. Try it yourself and then decide if it’s the same as making gifs.

@@drawitout there are different ways to make gifs... some of which fit your definition of 'product of craft'. You should learn a little more yourself first. Also that 'product of craft' definition is much more broad than you think it is. Learn the definitions of words please.

I can see why it was forgotten and it was meant to be forgotten because we have far better methods. Why isn't he trying to revive witchcraftry or apothecary medicine or maybe alchemy?
@amnesiac15654 жыл бұрын
To answer your question: Apothecary medicine does not need reviving, as we still have apothecaries, they just tend to go by the name "pharmacists " in most regions. However, in some places, pharmacists are still referred to as apothecaries. Witchcraftery has an "e" after the "t", and generally refers to the use of magic. While magic is thought of differently nowadays then in medieval times, there are still people who believe in magic. He's just not one of them, therefore he's not trying to revive it. Alchemy is technically the predecessor to chemistry, while it was based more upon turning base metals into gold or elixirs. This makes no sense, as it's like trying to turn helium to hydrogen, and we know that now. We can't turn one base to another. Therefore, we abandoned this after gaining the knowledge that the goals of alchemy was impossible. However, chemistry does still focus on transformations. Comparing this to Zoetropes and modern animation techniques, they focus on the same principles. Zoetropes weren't really forgotten, but were rather swapped out for better methods. However, they are unique in their own sense, as a physical way to view a typically digital form of art. It was also the second true animation device EVER, and when compared to Alchemy, or witchcraft, it is far superior. Please do your research before you comment in the future.

@amnesiac15654 жыл бұрын
Art: noun 1. the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. I'm not sure of your definition of art, but I've included the official one so you can remove your lack of correct information.
