Getting back to AJ! What if AJ was told in secret to deploy a defective strategy in fighting Ruiz? Obviously AJ would still be told to give it 100% but that deliberate defective strategy would totally drain AJ after two rounds. If AJ beat Ruiz, no one would be talking about AJ. Now AJ is a household name in America. That shock defeat was the best thing to happen to AJ in building his American, international, and even British profile. After all, the match was supposed to be a yawner that no one was supposed to be attention to. This rematch will be one of the highest sellers fights of all time. DAZN only had 5000 subscribers in America watching the fight. DAZN only had 400,000 DAZN subscribers in UK watching the fight. Expect the rematch to do a minimum of 2 million to 3 million watching this fight for the following reasons. 1. A rematch of Joshua vs. Wilder would not have generated more interest that the original because if either fighter would have lost, it would not have been very newsworthy and surprising. Needless to say, Ruiz's win sent shockwaves throughout the entire planet. Therefore, even casual sporting fans, along with traditional and diehard boxing fans, will pay attention to this AJ-Ruiz rematch. 2. Rumours of AJ's prior concussion may have been fabricated so that it would spark much more interest in the rematch. A good conspiracy theory is an excellent way to generate people's interest in the rematch. Has anyone noticed how expressive both AJ and Hearn are in telling the whole world that he suffered brain trauma during the fight? Now we all know that if that was really the case, the authorities would ban him for an extended period of time if not forever. These are things not openly discussed at all. It is simply not the case. 3. Hispanics are America's largest minority. You better believe every Hispanic will be watching the rematch even if he or she does not care much about boxing. Ruiz was ranked 14th by Boxrec prior to the original match and he was a third-string alternative. Who was willing to watch him fight,especially that costed money. Now he is the bearer of 4 belts. Fairy tales are not always that. 4. AJ knew that if he blew the original, he could always win the rematch. If he does that, his profile as a comeback fighter as well as his recognition will skyrocket and will be many times more appealing than if he had blown Ruiz away initially. If AJ lost to Wilder and Fury, then his chances of winning the rematch become nil even if he corrected a deliberate defective strategy. 5. The people who bet on Ruiz won a huge fortune in the first match. One wonders if DAZN is not aware of this. Always keep an open mind. The fight will happen in the USA.

Michael M McDonald that’s why I love Hagler. He knows what sacrifice, commitment, hard work and mental tenacity are. You didn’t have to worry about him being satisfied, not being motivated, not STAYING hungry. That’s what made him great. He was ALWAYS prepared. His fights weren’t won in the ring. They were won in training camp, where he pushed himself beyond his limits so he was always prepared for anything that came his way at fight time. Vito Antuofermo, Mustafa Hamsho, two unorthodox tough sob’s and of course Hearns were perfect example. And I don’t care what anyone OR the scorecards said, MARVELOUS BEAT LEONARD!

Jeez that’s some serious perfect sense Teddy saying there. I’m 60 now, brought up poor ,eldest of 9 kids, worked from age of 10. Always driven, always wanted to be toughest, smartest, number 1. Met a beautiful middle class girl, got a job where I had opportunity to do great things and did. Still had drive and still wanted to win at everything. By time I was 40 I burnt out and reached the point where I didn’t strive to be the best and started treading water and have done ever since. I’m comfortable and happy, but I wished that Drive had carried on another 10 yrs. so I can see with AJ it may have happened early because he achieved so much so fast. Hopefully this humiliation can reset his drive

By the time I was 50, I was practically a shell of my former self. It wasn't until I discovered that I'd become estrogen dominant. Therefore, you might want to have your testosterone levels checked. @@LuckyC555 Greetings, once again, Chuck. No worries. It appears that you are determined to reset your life. However, keep in mind that success well not occur overnight. It has been said that the best way to eat an elephant is to consume it one spoonful at a time. Set small incremental goals for yourself. Rather than focus on losing a specific amount of weight, make getting healthy your primary goal. That is to say, once you implement the type of changes that will return you to Optimal Health, the weight will automatically dissipate. Moreover, it is critical that you find healthy ways to eliminate stress, especially second-hand stress. Perhaps, this will require that you give yourself permission to be a bit more selfish. If your personality is such that you are always attempting to save the world, so to speak, it is now high time that you save yourself. This will require a great deal of self discipline and balance. However, as you begin to see progress, it will be "easier" to attain or even exceed your new health objectives. Also, keep in mind, that adequate rest is most crucial towards healing and Recovery. There are substantial peer reviewed studies that confirm the importance of sleep and it's impact on healthy weight management. If you are having issues with falling asleep naturally, Tart Cherry, is a great natural supplement for sleep and physical recovery. However, prior to taking any supplements, CHECK WITH YOUR PHYSICIAN first about any potential contraindications. If you have health coverage, it may be possible to work with a nutritionist. Yet, even without the assistance of a nutritionist, there are a couple of things you can do immediately on your own. Specifically, cutting back on sugar, fried foods and if applicable, alcohol. Making those subtle changes will go a long way towards jump-starting your journey to optimal nutrition. Nevertheless, you will encounter an occasional setback or two. However, you cannot afford to beat yourself up. Rather, learn from the experience and apply your newfound wisdom during your next go-round. While time is of the essence, it is imperative to remain patient. Ultimately, consistency is the key that will open the door to the rest of your life, a.k.a., the best of your life. You are about to Embark upon the most challenging, oft frustrating, yet rewarding and exciting Journeys of your lifetime! I wish you all the best in your endeavors. In health and in life. Keep it fresh and keep it fun!

Rick Moss Yes, I absolutely believe being healthy versus dropping a lot of weight for aesthetics is key. I’ve tried the tart cherry before only because I started getting gout in my foot at the age of 38 and I’ve also seen a nutritionist and I saw little success. I cut out high carbs, sugar, alchot, also The OMAD and warrior diet has really been working for me for the last 6-8 weeks. I’m down 20 or so pounds but I don’t really take the scale too serious and just judge my progress by trying on my old clothes and waist size. The main difference is I’ve had more energy throughout the day and I don’t burn out so easily by evening time. I found some new hope that I can and will be healthier for my 40’s and I rewrite my story. Thank you for the kind words of advice and encouragement, it’s like adding fuel to my gas tank.

Chigozie Eze science showed that’s bullshit. It’s important to get your sleep. Doing road work when you get the best workout in is best. Why train at 4 am on the east coast when you’re fighting at 9pm in Vegas.
@Mrchygozman
@Mrchygozman 4 жыл бұрын
@@nonyobussiness3440 As far as science goes, the body is perfectly okay with 6hrs to 8hrs of sleep. In addition to ur fighting skills, boxing is mainly about agility and endurance and u get that from unrelenting cardiovascular exercises which for you to rule on top u have to be obsessively excessive with it. I saw a fighter in Joshua that was very unfit based on his movement and reactions. If you leave no stone unturned in your preparation for a fight, it will not only condition ur body but will also send a to a message to ur subconscious that you deserve to win. AJ's reaction and facial expression after the loss does not show a fighter that believed he deserved to win that fight because he knew he didn't put in the required work in terms of preparation. U can deceive the audience with ur physical appearance but u cant fool ur mind. If AJ was waking up every morning for road work at odd hrs during his camp days, u will notice it in his movement and agility and he will be visibly frustrated and devastated if he looses despite all that. I just hope he learnt his lessons with this fight. Go back and watch George Foreman fight smaller guys in his days and see the difference in agility and ferocity exhibited in his movement and punches respectively.

Your doing a damn great job. I’m 50 years old and the new and great generation of boxers need to hear your honesty and wisdom on the brutal side of boxing. I think the financial part can be more brutal than the fight.

Would love to see you talk more on the old school boxers and the characters around boxing. Listening and reading about your time with Iron Mike and Cus is fascinating, would love to hear more or about old school boxing in general! Maybe do a fight recap of some of the classics gone by like Ray Leonard vs Duran etc

Its so true what teddy is saying what he saw in joshua i saw in conor mcgregor when he fought khabib. Its hard to stay hungry for the fight when the going gets tough when uve probably got 100 million in the bank it takes somebody special that cares more about legacy than money to get going when the going gets tough
