We had this album and it was just in a league of it's own. I use to play this particular song to death. It came out while I was experiencing my first heart break. I was so depressed but this song hepled ease the pain. On a lighter note, my momma loved her some Teddy Pendergrass; it was his husky voice and his beard. When I was a kid, I was forced to work hard since I was 4 years old. During the years, My dad was strictly abusive towards me and my sister. My mom is very mean at first. But my mom was abused by my dad as well. Honestly, I have got a whooping with an extension cord in my teenage years. All we do is work everyday, no balance in your life. This is unhealthy. I found out the hard way, I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression in my early 20s. I almost committed suicide back in 2008. When I was alone in the dark place. This song came to me at my lowest in life, when I was younger I cheated on my wife and my vices was really bad, I turned to God to fix myself, and in the midst of it, we became homeless and she met another man and they was in love for about six months going on almost to the end of the year.
