His first Philadelphia International Records album without the label's co-founders writing and producing, but Teddy was on a roll and that didn't stop him from selling another platinum album, his fourth in four years. Back in that period, he was the King of R&B. Sistas were throwing their panties up on the stage at his concerts and he was eating up all the love and attention!

My dad introduced me to Teddy Pendergrass when I was about 9 yrs old. Awesome music. Issac Hayes, Barry White, Micheal McDonald and others were part of my musical experience as a kid. But then again so were led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith and (my personal favorite) Rush. I miss those days of great music.

I'm a disabled military veteran that just happened to stumble across your channel and to one person to another that loves all types of music as much as I do, I can relate. Music is so soothing to the soul. And also, I love your reactions to the music. It reminds me of me, back in the day, how I moved to the groove when I heard a good song so it just took me back. Actually, I'm really surprised that you haven't heard of a lot of the songs that are requested. Look, I'm a huge fan of yours so sorry for being so blunt but this is my special request. It would be so nice to meet you in person so we could groove together. Because of the music, I can tell we share something special. It's amazing how you have this natural gift for radio/ television so it would be a honor to be in your presence. Keep doing what you doing beautiful. u r Blessed!
